After the feature patch I thought it was time to redo one of my oldest solos, but do it a little bit better this time. So here it is, the lvl 20 grawl boss solo

Frifox does amazing stuff with Mesmer but he lives in CoE.

I didn’t know you didn’t do Fractals Fri. Legendary imbued Shaman makes Alpha look like a patsy.

Dude Frifox, imbued shaman is my favorite fight in the whole game. It’s the only one I find challenging. So awesome. Check it out.

I am on NA and I can’t really join you guys either because there’s no way to guest or transfer servers on QueueAge. I cba to start over from scratch again so meh.

Obviously this is an exploit and needs to be nerfed… just kidding, but I am surprised it hasn’t been said yet lol. Nice playing, makes me want to pick up my mes again.

Sadly, not sarcasm. Last time I ran fotm was when fractals came out and even then only got to lvl 5 before deciding it’s something I won’t enjoy. Granted, my pug runs back then we’re all complete fails so that may have contributed to my dislike of that place.

If it weren’t for Mai Trin, I think the imbued shaman would still claim the title of greatest party annihilator in fractals. Maybe if we had the metrics to check he still holds that title, but it has slipped from memory due to Mai Trin.

I would recommend to give them another shot but maybe with people you know as opposed to pugs.
Especially if you realise they are to your liking after all – might happen or not, who knows – and intend to get to the higher levels and the instabilities. Some fractal/instability combinations I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemies in a semi-to not-organised pug.

As for the original topic: Congratulations. Very nice video.

My biggest 3 gripes with FotM are:

a) have to wait until everyone’s ooc before waypointing/resurrecting unlike dungeons, where you can go to character select and waypoint outside + re-enter

b) no rewards

c) forced to play as a charr/asura

Other than those 3 things, some of the bosses like mossman and imbued shaman are a lot cooler than most of the dull ones like for example AC/CM/HotW bosses.

With that said, what you see in Sandy’s video is not an easy thing to do consistently. Gj.

He was techincal about how he did it aswell that was great.
( ok ready for my really really bad mes knowledge and spelling? )

His curtian? Move that pulls to the line was placed to postion the boss in the same spot for the whole fight as well as to reflect the projetiles

He had waited and kepted a cool head when the boss had his sheild up, and was hitting it off while being mindfull of his postion. He moved out of harms way and when he did this he was mostly infront and took a breather as he waited for it to be both saver and for the boss to catch up.

Of course being a mes, he had alest one of him under the boss all the time, which greatly helped. This cheacked the ai and he would preform those two moves: the one were he gains some hight and knocks you back and the swooping move which deals massive dmg.
