I just did lvl 100 and it seems the Ellen Kiel exploit is back (or still working). Someone dced and got rezzed by Ellen Kiel. I thought this was supposed to be fixed and you get teleported into the boss room automatically.

It was never fixed, just like pretty much everything else on the list of HoT-Release Fractal fixes

It was announced to be fixed though with the HoT patch.

• Captain Mai Trin Boss:
  • Fixed some bugs that allowed players to rejoin the fight against Mai Trin after logging out.
  • Fixed a bug that would allow Kiel to resurrect downed players outside of Mai Trin’s room.

Yes, it was announced.
That doesn’t mean it was actually fixed/the fix is working.
I think the only fix that actually works is not being able to pull Mossman underwater, and afaik pugs already found a way around that, too.

Indeed, I already saw a pug pull mossman underwater on lvl 83

You can always switch characters and come in alive which is probably intended. Of course that also saves progress on most bosses.
