So, having had extremely bad luck with essences (>1800 tokens, still no Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence, and only 1 Vial), I’d like to know where I should look now to get the Glob. Patch notes say:

Vials of Condensed Mists Essence no longer drop after scale 10.
Globs of Coagulated Mists Essence no longer drop after scale 20.

Does this mean that the Globs will still drop on scale 20, as it seems to say?

Yeah they could be a bit clearer about that.

Yesterday I got a Glob from 20.

I’m guessing just go to level 1 with magic find and destroy continually spawning mob’s (like dredge) until you get the drop. Unless someone has gathered some data or a dev wants to spill it, that’s probably the best bet, no?

I know you can combine lesser essences to upgrade them but can you also break down an essence into lower tier?

Continuously respawning mobs do not drop loot… nor do they trigger “on kill” charges and trait effects.

I’m not sure if I understood the wording correctly, but If I’m right:

1. Vials of Condensed Mists Essence no longer drop starting at scale 11.
2. Globs of Coagulated Mists Essence no longer drop starting at scale 21.

I’m already at level 31 but missing 3 vials to infuse an ascended ring. I’ve enough globs and a Shard for the infused ring recipe. Now, i’m forced to redo content level 1-9 or 1-10 if I understood the wording correctly earlier. So far I’ve done over 7 full tier 1 runs without a vial dropped, the drop rate is still absurdly low. I hope it’s not bugged with Christmas present boxes as part of the loot table for the period of time.

I’d much appreciate if Robert or someone else can confirm the loot table range for Vial of condensed mists.

I would take anything in the patch notes with a grain of salt. I had a vial drop earlier today in a lvl 24 fractal.
