My Feedback regarding Sorrow’s Embrace Explorer Mode (all 3 Paths).

I have now finished all 3 Paths and want to share my experience with other people and see if they feel the same way I do.
So let me start with Path number one

Purge the inquest
I gotta say that this path would be quite nice(and short about 20 min I quess) if not fore the beginning. I am not sure if it is a bug but I have no idea how you are supposed to kill these ENDLESS waves of asuras(3 silver mobs, max seems to be 6 at a time). They have too much health and too strong aoe(with conditions Poison/chill). One time I got lucky and the endless horde did not spawn (we only had to kill 1 wave) until we defeated the first boss, however this seem not to be the case all the time. After we killed the boss (the boss seems to be normal gold mob with no note able special abilities) they started spawning again and we could not advance. We got around this by slipping 1 guy through. He killed all the blockades and after he finished his job we used stealth to bypass the mobs. The add seem to dispawn during the fight and don’t seem to come back (so no worries if you die after you killed the second boss).

The Second boss
He is pretty easy but got some interesting mechanics. He has an normal aoe attack and can spawn adds. These adds will stay where they are summoned and aoe dmg everyone around them for massive dmg.
Overall ok boss could need more abilities.

After the second boss you will need to get through a tunnel filed with traps (they look like white stones) and golems that can pull you (nice combination ^^)

The 3rd boss
First of let me say that I really like and really hate the boss. Why you ask? Because the 3rd boss or to be more precise the 3rd bosses are all 3 Golems of Kudu at once and these Golemes gave me nightmares. However I think it’s a nice design choice to confront the player with all Golems at once. On the contrary it’s a recycled boss but I don’t really care in this case
Overall nice boss

Final boss
This boss was a huge disappointment. She only got a bunch of hp and an aoe that insta kills you. OK she can knock you back and she can teleport but this abilities do not matter because she doesn’t combo them (she will never knock you into hero aoe)
Overall ok but lame boss needs more abilities

Overall okay way if you can get past the beginning
Maybe you guys can tell me what I am really supposed to do because I have no clue why there are endless waves.

Free the slaves
Let me start with I hate this way I has nothing special except the final boss and is about 1-3 hours long so I will not go into detail. Let me just say that this way is lengthened in an so artificial way that it hurts. You will have to fight a huge number of silver and goldmobs without a reward. For the 1st chest you need to kill 5!!! Goldmobs and more than 10 silver mobs that’s insane. Before the final boss you have to destroy mortars (I think 6 each of them guarded by 3 silver mobs) THEN you have to kill 6 silvermobs that spawn additional mobs everything takes so fing long (its not hard its just long)

The last boss itself is pretty cool. You need to watch 2 enemies (1 melee,1 ranged with aoe) need to pay attention to guy with the cannon (he can render 1 of the 2 Golems invulnerable and + dmg I think and will switch all the time) and you have to kill both golems at the same time (or they will get back to full health). Pretty nice boss imo HOWEVER they could have told you that you have to kill them at the same time …. 1 golem is labelled self repairing the other NOT so we kill the one without the self repairing first to find out that we now have to kill him AGAIN…. frustrating. Well on a positive note it seems that if kill 1 of the golems (I am not sure the same happens if you kill the other golem) the guy with the canon gets stunned for the rest of the fight which mean no more invulnerability.

Overall not enough challenge and toooooooooo long and boring enemies.

Military way (forgot real name)
Most balanced way and the way I like the most. Its not so long 20-40 min has interesting bosses and some parts are quite challenging.

1st boss
Boss + 3 silvermobs
The boss is simple but has some nice abilities and is a nice intro boss. His normal auto attacks inflict 5 bleeding stacks (not sure about the number) but his interesting abilities is when he borrows himself under ground (you can stop him with stuns (very nice that you can do that btw)) and will charge at one player. When he reaches him he does aoe dmg ( will mostly one hit every one so better pay attention).

2nd boss
Boss+2 mortars (you can ignore the mortars or kill them that’s up to you but keep in mind that some class have problems hitting them).
He has an aoe pull and a really mean dot. To get rid of the dot you can jump into the water fountain but then they will go on cd. I am not completely sure how the dot works but I think it works something like this:
You get a dot + a red circle if a friendly thing (player, pet, illusion(which really sucks especially for the hunter class because sometimes their pet can easily kill them)) comes into the circle they will get the dot too and as long as you stand together you will take even more dmg (very mean with the pull ^^)
Imo a very nice boss want more like these.

3rd boss
Not a real boss more a thing that spawn enemies and a gold mob at the end.
A normal check if you do enough dmg and can doge enemies
Not really special but ok

Final boss
He has nice abilities and effects but is imo too easy for the final boss. He has no MUST DODGE attack and the most dmg comes from the fire at the ground (a little not the fire spawns without red circle and stays without red circle so you got to pay attention and acted fast)
A nice boss but a bit to easy

Overall a nice way not too long not too easy and nice bosses

I hope I could give you an insight on the dungeon and hope I have not made too many spelling/grammar mistakes ^^

Pretty much the same.
Inquest was the easiest before the grenade change, now its just stupid dumb.
Slavery was terrible. It boasted some of the most boring fights, literal tons of trash with gobs of hp. The best part of slavery was the taskmaster boss fight, then the final boss fight. Everything else was total crap.

Military is probably the most fun. The bosses are reasonable, and telegraph pretty well. Also the final boss can be defeated by parkour, which is incredible.

TBH before the inquest change SE was probably the best dungeon.

Fergg’s route is the fastest, but it requires the most coordination/finesse. The recent bandaid fix broke the grenadier spawns but it’s still doable with a party split. Challenging, sometimes tense, requires constant focus, at least for the first half of it. But seriously, was the grenadier fix even tested?

Koptev’s route is the most balanced of the two in terms of time and difficulty.

Rasolov’s route is horrible. Never again. The first chest section is basically 20 minutes of trash on steroids. The bosses are just vets promoted to Champion status to give them more health, with no meaningful mechanics. The Crusher boss is okay, but the amount of trash in the room is certainly not. Shukov’s fight is just agonizing to go through.

There’s a PoI you can’t access in any of the routes, and the NO NO NO – I mean the Koptev route has an alternate side path with destroyers that don’t seem to serve any purpose, making me wonder if the place is finished. Especially since half the pathway is covered in invisible lava.

Finally, the whole place is an unoptimized mess, all the lava and steam cutting the framerate of my group into halves and thirds. I want the Furnace set – I’ve got two of the pieces already, even – but I can only tolerate the place once a day, given that most pick-up groups don’t have the coordination to do Fergg’s route. Really holding out for some form of token exchange.

I quick off topic question do you guys know if there are light shoulder for the set? the ones i think are supposed to be light shoulders are labeled as medium :/
