So, I want this gear, that weapon, this and that. The fact I have seen it takes 50 runs just makes me question even playing this game anymore. I am a pve hero, and so far I have not enjoyed one of the dungeons. AC was a cluster, other places with the use of dodge is neat but sometimes just pushing buttons gets boring. Now, i’ll stand corrected.

Tonight, I did sorrow’s embrace and the last boss took about 5-10 minutes, and was great. The golem boss before that,kittennear 20 minutes because of stupid mechanics.

My question is, did arenanet’s team really test these and did they ever calculuate how many times it really takes to get a gear set. How did this not get stopped before hand, as it needs to get fixed because i dont want to see kids going “game is dull now, going to wow again” that im sure we’ll see if arenanet doesn’t start stating what their 3-6 month goals are for the game.

Personally, I am a bit sad that I have lost the will to even get dungeon gear due to it being ‘grindy’ after this ‘non-grindy’ game claiming it would never do that. /slap in my face arenanet. Now I guess it’s time to finish exploring the wonderful world, and enjoy wvwvw and pvp. Least those are nice and good atm.

The big thing is, they have 2 tiers of gear for each dungeon, but the low tier gear is not at all worth getting because by the time you’ve farmed enough dungeon currency, you’re too high a level for the gear to be useful. AND the low tier gear is the same skin as some regular gear you can get elsewhere? What’s that about? I feel that if I just ran an explorable mode and finally completed it after 3 hours, I should at least be able to get 1 piece of gear and have it represent my achievement, not look like some schmo’s gear I’m standing beside who didn’t work hard to finish the dungeon. Instead, I’ll just have to bank my 25 tokens and maybe consider coming back at level 80 to get the upper tier set, and really only if they give you more tokens per run.

Yeah, dungeons take way to long as it is. Trash that randomly chooses who to hit stinks, and I do agree one run should be a piece of gear.
