So, i love fractals, its great for money, but still… There are some things i hate about it…

1. Account bound drops. 80% of the times i get an exotic from fractals, its accountbound. Even if its something i can’t use, like a bow (Im a necro btw) its account bound. I have to salvage it ,and hope for some exotic to be able to make moeny from it.. Why?

2. Your progress is character bound… Im currently on lvl 19 on my necro, but if i want to do fractals on my warrior, i have to get reward like a level 1. This is stupid

3. It doesnt count as a “dungeon”… Whenever i have to do dungeons for my daily, i do a fractal run, but it doesnt count as a dungeon. Also for my monthly, i cant run fractals. Why not? Its still a dungeon. If it doesnt count as a dungeon, please remove the dungeon symbol on the map, or atleast change it

Thats the MAIN problems i have with fractal… Atleast the ones that bother me the most

4. Fractal skins should become fractal skin tokens so you can trade it in for the one you want.

5. Fractals dont offer amulets or accessories which you need to get into higher fractals however you cant obtain through fractals.

6. Cant salvage Ascended Rings

Also to your 1st , you can MF them.

agree with all your points, TC but the worst is not able to do ANYTHING dozens of rings most everyone who does dailies often enough have.

I have a problem mostly with 2, the rest I don’t mind too much, I’ve previously used my guardian for fractals, got to lvl 20, no longer interested in guardian, playing my thief for example, I have the amulets and rings from drops/daily coins, enough fractal coins to get 15 ar, starting back at lvl 1 fractals, not interested, grind with little reward comes to mind, what if I decide in another month I don’t particularly like my thief?

Fractals is only worth investing time into if you’re certain the character you’re progressing with is the only one you want to play.

What’s wrong with it? Well other than the fact that it’s overly long and annoying with endless mobs of dredge and a PITA boss . Most of all it’s just not very fun.

What is stupid about the skins is that someone who has already done 400 fractals on the “fractal frequenter” achievement still has not received a skin but some noob on his first lvl 26 run gets one. Fair?……I THINK NOT!

1. Lol, how come 80% of the items are account bound? If I’m not mistaken, most of rares dropped aren’t accound bound, and salvage the exotics for ectos (each one sells for a lot) or throw everything in the forge to get another item that you may need (not really recommended, but idk, just a suggestion)

4. That’s true. Dropping a skin is virtually impossible, and there’s always that great chance of getting the one you don’t want

5. That’s stupid, we do need the amulets and accessories, but we are forced to do guild missions/dailies just to get the other pieces

6. It’s not just “can’t salvage”, but those rings are kind of useless. What’s the point of having tons of them (and pristines) and can’t do anything more interesting then destroying/selling to npcs? Still gotta try mystic forge and see if it’s possible

Rings should be able to break down to Shards, Globs, Vials, depending on RNG and Quality, Infused Rings can do Shards and Globs, regular rings can do Globs and Vials.

I wish level was account wide, at least the reward. I would love to take my engineer through level 10, since he has no AR currently, but I know the fights well enough to survive a 10, and get him a levels, but not getting the daily chest makes it not worth the time, when I have limited time.

It is a dungeon, it should count, agree 100%

I have bad RNG, got a Ring on my first 10, first 20 got a skin, first 26 got my first infused ring, and my first 30 another infused ring, over 400 fractals done almost all evens and dailies only, and yet to get a ring I could use or a skin(I am a necro and got harpoon gun skin)

7- Doesnt Rewards influence (this kinda goes with the whole doesnt count as a dungeon)

if you get them as a random drop you can do anything you want with them

Not always true Last night I got The exotic skull “Adam” from a chest and it was not account bound. It may just be certain types like the Armageddon and Ceremonial things.

2 – No. If you want another daily reward lvl up another toon.
3 – Agree.
4 – Agree.
5 – Agree. (still cant belive this)
6 – Agree.
7a – Dredge frac is long but have nice rewards. I like this frac.
7b – Agree (no influence).
8 – Many bad mechanics (big jelly fish, mossman, svanir chaman).
9 – Worst loot than dragon chest.
10 – high lvls (38+) have the same loot than low lvls or worst.
