I am on an EU server, why can’t I join a dungeon with someone on an NA server? I thought we were supposed to be able to play with people in other regions. Is this a temporary thing that will be resolved?

I’m looking at gw2lfg.com and there are over a dozen entries for AC in last 10 minutes for NA and 1 from a group thats already full for EU, it just kinda sucks.

sadly this most likely wont be possible until Guesting becomes a feature.

Indeed, this was one of the biggest promise breaks from anet.
I remember anet promised us to be able to play instances with all our GW1 friends no matter what server they chose. Yet I cant play with them even after 4 months.
Anet didnt even have the decency to explain why its not possible or if it ever will be possible. Which would be the least they could have done.

Obligations for guild?
Also, i think that you should reiterate the definition of “friend” in your vocabulary. If they were your friends they stay around…

What is happening on this subject?

When guesting was introduced, this was still not made possible.

Will we ever be able to do dungeons with our friends from NA/EU if we are not in the same region? This is a very big disappointment.

I’ve looked through most of the threads on the subject, and anet totaly ignores all inquiries about this.

Most likely not unless Anet decides to make centralized servers somewhere. ANet leads us to believe that with the current setup of data centres, it is not possible for EU and American to play together.

You can group up with peoples from NA / EU in the same party but not play together. That is quite strange…
