focus 5/DS2 are dps loss. Also cast both wells then go to ds
Happy to see zerk necro soloing, im tired of eles

it’s not a dps loss when it allows you to kite and deal damage

So… tough for me to offer suggestions on how to do it faster since I don’t know squat about necros besides vague generalizations >.>

But… if you can keep him crippled, you can just max range autoattack him with axe on a warrior and just 100b him when he does the breath blast thing.

I am not sure about necros weapons/skills but maybe if you tried doing it similarly to what I described you could shave off a lot of time :P

As far as I know, dagger build has worse dmg in solo mode than death shroud build
Dagger has best dps only when buffed by pt, and death shroud build does self-might on auto + 50% more crit chance but I can try it next time and compare times, who knows, maybe I’m wrong

I need to finish my new machine so i can start trying to record stuff. And I need to actually take some time to DO stuff. Every time I settle down to do a solo thing I get called away for… any number of things.

locust signet also doesn’t look so optimal
but yeah the armor and rune combo is best for solo i suppose, too bad I’m saving money for totally useless things and stuff like perma hair stylist xD

and %dmg sigils

edit: idk though. death shroud build grants you might stacking AND allows to keep 15% sigil dmg. im not good at dps math though so im not sure.

I have an Energy sigil on mine but Battle would be more optimal for DPS.

The reason i suggested Locust was simply because of Signet mastery. as well as the Heal proc from the active on the Signet. so activating that signet is 6 stacks of might. it has a life steal component to it as well but meh damage is damage ?

Yeah but even that 3 might and little lifesteal form locust signet doesn’t outdps one of these: spite signet (180 power = perma ~5might), suffering well (big dmg + vuln), blood is power (10 might) :P

I use energy sigil for Lupi and Imbued Grawl Shaman

Problem with power necros is that you have to trade off your spite passive and well of suffering if you want to do a might rotation with signet mastery. You could just go condi though. Im not sure about wraithlords armour but i wouldnt be surprised if condi was faster for necro even on low armour targets.

its true, with Power NEcro, either you get 25 might. or sustained power.

Also rune of strength doesnt give might on heal. So you wouldnt get 6 stacks of might with vamp signet. Also locust signet doesnt give 6 stacks with aristocracy runes. Just tested it to be sure. Aristocracy runes only work with the heal slot.

I’d second the suggestion of locus sig, but I would recommend using it for the passive. With a bit of bonus movement speed you can juke his melee attack and thus don’t need to worry about crippling or kiting.

[Example here] Sorry its on boring ele. I will probably make a thief version but I wanted to give a clear example of the tequnique without steath mucking up his attack pattern.

This is a nice trick.

It does remind me of Wethospu’s Spider Queen no dodge no damage solo. Very cool!
