Slotting gear for agony resistance is non-intuitive and very intimidating for a new player to grasp. You have to spend a great deal of time researching the mechanics outside of the game and the vast majority of casual players will not bother doing so.

Anet, please restructure/redesign agony resistance so that its easy and intuitive to understand or put in some very specific details in game please.

It seems research is quite big part of every MMORPG game.
Maybe it’s wrong and frustrating, but it’s the way it is.

I wholeheartedly agree. I have wvw infusions in my gear and don’t want to get duplicates of everything, so trying to figure out how to get a reasonable amount of AR in only a few pieces without having to spend tons of gold has been a challenge.

It would be helpful if anet added an NPC that explained the different kind of infusions that are available and the various ways you can add AR infusion slots (infusing, attuning) to your gear.
