Never Done a Dungeon
[TTBH] [HATE], Yak’s Bend(NA)
I run dungeons all the time but I have a few characters that still need to unlock many story modes so if you are on a NA server I’d be happy to join you on your quest! Add me to your friends list and shoot me a message if you’re interested. I’m usually around weeknights (central time zone) and a lot on weekends so hopefully that fits your schedule.
I think you’d be more likely to find a group for story mode at the entrance to the dungeon, or you can use gw2lfg.com – there you can make a posting specific to story mode and invite other people that are also looking to do that dungeon.
Thanks Roz. I’m on Yak’s Bend too so I’ll pm you next time I’m in-game.

Use gw2lfg.com. It’s makes it easier to find other people to run story modes. It’s much better than map chat shouting because people not on your server or zone can see it.
The primary issue with gw2lfg is that a good 75+% of the site consists of LEVEL 80 ONLY, KNOW THE DUNGEON SPEED RUN SKIP EVERYTHING, NO RANGERS NO ENGINEERS ZERKER WARRIORS AND MESMERS ONLY, HAVE FULL EXOTICS, MAX EFFICIENCY, NOOBS WILL BE KICKED, kthxbai.
A bit intimidating to new players, to say the least. Judging from the prevalence of the sort of post I mentioned, and the fact that there are rarely any story requests aside from Arah and AC, I’d say most (though not all) of the posters there aren’t the sort who want to teach others or look to be taught. Call it unfair on my part, but that’s the general vibe I get, especially after a guildie assembled a group there, only to have one quit right off the bat because there was a ranger and the rest try to facetank everything, then whine and ragequit after inevitably dying.
Anyway, though Roz offered already, I’m also willing to lend a hand with AC story should I be free. I’ll be available late tonight, and possibly on the weekends.

Count me in I will gladly join you for any story mode. I do not have the same problem with gw2lfg.com and would hate to go back to not having it. True the lvl 80 only no noobs probably scares some off. Just take the initiative and make more own post stating what your goals and needs are then sit back and wait for the join requeats to come in. Some times it can take up to a half hour in my experience to form a storymode party. AC CM TA and Arah should come together pretty quick imo. Enter the dungeon first so a rage quitter doesnt cause your entire party to be kicked from the dungeon.
1. research the dungeon, start with AC since you don’t have an 80 yet. Use google.
2. During peak time, stand between portal and arch outside AC, toggle /lfg and say “lfg ac exp” in chat. Don’t constantly spam it to the whole zone every 20secs, sometimes takes time.
3. If no immediate invite, watch for someone to say "lfm or lf(1-4)m, Either msg them, self invite or say “lfg ac exp” once again.
4. In group chat say it’s your first run, or first run on a certain path they choose or when choosing.
You can try LA, but it’s faster if you are actively looking for a particular dungeon to just go there. Often when I can’t fill a full group outside of a dungeon, I’ll hit up LA really quick for people looking passively for any dungeon.
In time you will have a friends list of dungeon running friends, and/or use the lfg website. I’d start with trying to find players on your own server first though, build up some rep and a friends list. Then you will have other players and their alts to hit up for SM’s etc.

Story mode posting on gw2lfg.com are usually a lot more forgiving than some of the “experienced 80 only” type posts in the explorable sections. Let’s all try to connect over the next couple of days? I should be around pretty much every night and during the day as well on the weekend.
