Now that some time has passed since the changes, I would like to know how everyone has received the changes done to the glider.

I want to know this because, atleast for me, these changes ripped most of its asthetic value from it. I and am currently using another glider because I can’t stand it. I crafted it because it looked EXACTLY like the backpack.
I can understand why people may have complained that it “doesn’t look legendary” when in rather short intervals new gliders with more and more effects are added to the shop.
But out there are people like me that craft this stuff because it looks like it looks.
All I can do is to plead for the reintroduction of the old design (best as separate skin) and read the opinions of other people.

The new skin isn’t that bad, but I’d prefer the old version.

I use the current version more than the old version.

The old version felt way to static and didn’t look like the backpiece at all.

That’s nice, but that’s your opinion and it wont change mine.

meh, it is a little too rectangular for me. I liked the sorta aerodynamic shape of the prior. But I’d take either if I could just dye the thing.

I like the new version better than the old one, but still not enough to actually use it. Anet powercreeped the skins so massively, that this /supposedly/ LEGENDARY skin can be called “fine” at best.

2k gold went into it as well as thousands upon thousands of fractals, but then somebody can buy a 100g skin from the gemstore that’s way better looking and takes 1/100 of the effort this “legendary” skin took. 0/10 would never again

It was eh already. Now it is eh-. Why even make it for the looks when you can get a kitten meteor glider or those crystal wings that look more impressive for like 200 gold.

I’m still pretty disappointed with it, truthfully. Every other week something flashier comes out on the gem store, and my silly little Ad Infinitum glider persists at the “just barely noticeable” level. I’m not asking for Ad Infinitum’s glider to be a meteor, but it doesn’t have a custom animation, it doesn’t have a very noticeable effect, it uses the default trail… It’s just really lackluster. Get the guy who did Warbringer’s glider to do a pass on Ad Infinitum and the Ascension and we’ll be talking.
