New Arah bug comfirmed preventing us to do path 1,2
At least that proves they tampered with it, I wonder sup with Simin atm. I’m really glad we completed path1 yesterday. :-)
They add the missing teleports to path 1?

If this is the case I won’t be doing path 1 and 2 any time soon then. I hope they fix it soon This is no way of preventing pugs from using the waypoint instead they should get Lupicus to reset if he goes out of his arena area.

After X days of Arah being bugged Anet made a patch… everyone on GW2 was happy until they see the true work that the staff made… They found another way to making it impossible to complete.
Now the people of Tyria wonder about some other way that Anet could use to bug it again and pray for just 1 day of Arah working… What do you think Anet, can we have that istance back?
Path 1 is the only one I need for dungeon master….
From what is sound like is you have to fight Giganticus Lupicus in his room and can’t lure him back anymore?

It has been awhile since I did Arah, but I think the OP means he can’t get to Giganticus, not that he can’t drag him to a WP.

Path 1 and 2 need that gate open, not because I need to lure the boss to the waypoint, but I need to reach the boss.
So there is no way to engage the boss now.
wtf…seriously? so they decide to block the path to lupicus because pugs and noobs couldn’t beat him without abusing the waypoint or whatever bs they were doing?
It wasn’t deliberate; it was probably part of an attempt to block paths 3 and 4 from using that waypoint (it randomly unlocked buggily after the underwater segment) and getting faster runback to GL.
Lupi should just reset if you pull him out of his room, that would be a rather easy fix for the abuse. But currently, this really sucks, no way to get the Arah Set anytime soon.

my group just found out about this as we arrived at the broken door… i hate everything! lol hopefully a hotfix patch tonight? pretty please? arah is the only semi challenging dungeon, so i hope this is fixed promptly.
Yes, I hope for a hotfix. I can’t wait yet another week of no Arah runs.

I hope that includes a fix for the Shoggaroth WP showing up in the Forgotten route but not the Jotun one (where you actually fight the boss).

It seems that the gate is still bugged. This was approx 4-5 hours ago. Path 3
Thanks for the fix! The door @ path 1 and 2 is fixed.
I think the devs wanted to fix the corpse-run problem by a simple/the fastest way but they just forgot that door of path 1, 2 is mandatory.
I am sure they can/will fix the corpse-run problem in a better way but sometimes programming and coding is just not simple.
@Lemon, you don’t need that gate on path 3. The breakage was probably created by an attempt to FIX use of that waypoint from path 3/4, since it’s off-path.
so if you die in path 3 or 4, you auto lose?
It takes you less than 30 seconds to get back to the fight if you have to respawn at the southern waypoint. That’s not an auto lose but absolutely doable.

less than 30 seconds? the respawn you are talking about is now locked. … now you must go through the under water part + the blue ball part jsut to run back. thats well over 30 seconds…
Okay, 30s was a little too short ^^
But it’s still easy to be back there in time if you use your swiftness skills and passive speed bonuses.
