I was with a player that revealed us that near the end of the dungeon, you can pass through the door before the last boss without destroying it. so he went through and i saw him destroying the crystal without any of the mobs attacking him. After that we did the bomb part, also that exploited with the elementalist (i really can’t seem to find a group that wants to do this legit) and then when i looted the last chest i got two times the reward.

Just for the dev to take note of fixes needed.

Another thing: i really can’t seem to understand how does the lava part works, it seems random if magg lives or dyes in the passage, can someone explain how is this legitimately done?

Honestly you are much more likely to get in trouble for describing an exploit on public forums than all of the players together actually doing the exploit.

Use /bug ingame and even though I see your intentions are good. I wouldn’t take this risk

Hopefully this gets patched, but I would stick to taking in game screenshots and submitting bugs that way. I would avoid submitting them on the forum and explaining how it’s done.

LOL, I have ran 4-5 dungeons and every one of them has some kind of exploit that other players have told me about and showed me. I did talk about it here and how dungeons suck. If they ban people for talking about exploiting, they might as well ban everyone since 99% of people do it. This game will have no more players anymore. I have stopped running dungeons because I can’t get 60 tokens/run. I refuse to do more effort than people who aren’t bugged.

If you ban everybody who has exploited, might as ban everybody who plays the game. The player base is declining fast anyways. Remember GW1, who has done Mallyx legitimately. Who got banned for using that door glitch? No one.

This about going through last door and simply destroying crystal, then going back is reported by me to Anet since 25.09.2012… So this is not “new” exploit.
And this was in this game even before 25.09 patch… 25.09 was meant to fix it, but as we all can see – it failed.

I don’t know a thing about “Elementalist exploit” though.

Big deal, you get an extra 3 blues totaling to 2 silver. Whoopie ding.

Ele exploit has to do with their utility skill Glyph of Renewal. More than that I won’t divulge, but it’s a rather ingenius way of countering the door event. I haven’t done it, and it will be fixed soon, hopefully along with detuning that specific event either with enemy health, damage, or the event timer.
