Seriously! There are active guilds advertising PvX all over LA. It’s not tough to get in one and most have people who are supportive of all skill levels if you’re apprehensive about your performance. Use a guild to strengthen your game, do what you can’t alone, and make pals to enjoy an MMO for what it’s supposed to be.
I’m pretty sure you can find a group who are willing to 4 man AC and help with the tokens, but then you wouldn’t have fully earned your legendary.

And then 100g in Runestones too… plus a bunch of other expensive crap I’m forgetting.
And the biggest complaint here is having to run Catacombs 8 times for 500 lousy tokens?
I’ve already run Cats 20+ times just for Monk Runes & a Shortbow I almost NEVER USE.

I mean .. okay he makes a few good points about just needing Anet to LISTEN to us. Especially when it comes to huge Bugs that seem to take them weeks or months to fix when we already KNOW that Anet can completely recode & fix most problems in a couple days if it’s something they obviously CARE ABOUT (Like the Promenade Giant being farmed…they patched that sucker instantly almost).
We could definitely go for them listening to us when we say that most of the Boss encounters & Trash Elite mobs are just plain boring mindless DPS tests and we need more engagement there.
We’lll definitely need to them listen to us after Aug 6th to adjust their once-a-day Gold rewards for Path lengths b/c we all know they’re going to be off the mark there no matter how much Datamining they did before hand…
And we could definitely use better Difficulty scaling in them. Or atleast in Story mode… ..but after that point… ugh … Not really helping “Our” cause bro

What’s wrong with wanting the dynamic world we were promised? The artificial world of instance dungeons is just that artificial. I have no problem with them being in the game but I like my social aspect of the game to be with people actually playing the game not segregating themselves into an instance and calling it social.

You knew what it took to get a legendary when you decide to try an make one. By the way, the dungeon part has to be one of the easiest if not THE EASIEST part of a legendary.

Anet is trying to try to please a wide variety of people, many of whom like different things and want different things. Explorable dungeons were aimed at coordinated groups of skilled players, not soloists. If you don’t want to do dungeons in a group, then dungeon content was not aimed at you.
So, you want ANet to apply a lot of programmer time and effort to balance these instances for any number of people up to five. OR program “heroes” a la GW. Heroes in dungeons would either have to be incredibly resilient — necessitating a bunch of balancing work --- or ANet would have to redesign NPC AI completely.
There is nothing wrong with wanting the “dynamic world we were promised.” However, revamping dungeons as you suggest would not give you a dynamic world. What it would do is expend a lot of developer time and effort that could be spent making the dungeons more fun or making new dungeons. Sorry, I can’t sign off on your suggestions.
The dungeon reqs are the easiest part of a legendary. Like the very most simple. Particularly your target. AC is a breeze. (But apparently Anet thinks it’s harder than CoE and SE. -.-)
We don’t need any new kind of reward to try to get us into 5 man pug dungeons. You are wasting your time and my money. What we need is someone to listen to the vast majority of us and make the dungeons level to the number of toons that enter. …snip…

I have read requests for “raids”, which I think is an honest request and even requests for tiered difficultly of the dungeons…but dynamic scaling for dungeons?
I am afraid your small band on buddies does not equate to “vast majority”….sorry.
You can just buy the gold you need to buy Dawn and all the mats with IRL money. Things that require actually playing the game are by comparison much harder.
Such as World Completion.
Not even joking, I have about 75 charged lodes, a sigil and level 400 weaponsmithing to go until Sunrise and the thing that daunts me most is World Completion.

Yeah if someone did 500 CoF runs and 30 CoE/SE/TA/Arah runs than yeah, CoF is easyier.
You consider getting the Gift of Ascalon as the lofty goal to complete Sunrise? You can’t do one or two AC paths a day for less than a week?
I wish dungeon completion was weighted more heavily in Legendary completion because I find that to be by far the best part of the Legendary to acquire (I hate mind numbing grind).
