With the recent garbage balance patch, I was wondering how the FoTM meta changed? im guessing 4 reaper isn’t viable anymore.

4 Reaper isn’t “meta”, only wanted by almost all pugs. It is still viable and faceroll.

Reapers are still godlike , the Jagged Horrors nerf isnt as big in fractals. You can still play with Rise.

4 ele with glyph of elemental power and 1 druid is the new meta.

Outside of the “interesting” glyph of elemental power bug/feature, 4 reaper is reliable and thus will remain the meta until the defensive aspect of necro get nerfed. The parasitic trait + healer + rise just make it almost impossible to fail, and if anything, failing a fractal is the least thing a pug group want. Most people rather want to spend 15m extra per day with a less optimal but more reliable comp, and that is what necro currently represent in fractals.

2 things. There is no fractal “Meta”. It’s fractals. Bring what you like. Reaper still as viable as it ever was.

We went back to 2 tempest +1 chrono/druid/ps pretty standart power setup.
First power daily since ages and went pretty smooth.
Tested with the old 4 Viper eaper setup yesterday and the dps just sucks. no way you still want to run that low dps just for safe runs.

5 reaper is the new meta coz druid is no longer needed to heal minions. why 4 reaper if you can get 5.

I did Mai Trin 100 last night with 4 reapers (I was one of them) and 1 engie with a very smooth run so yeah it’s still pretty good.

And yes, I can agree.

Reaper is still staying fractal pug meta. Nerf do hurt raiding reaper a lot ofc, but raiders are too small minority to really make an impact on fractal comps.

Necro’s are still fine. I did a raid yesterday as a reaper, and we still beat VG and Gorseval both just fine, as normal. In fact, we were faster than usual despite having 2 necros in the parties. (both viper builds, 1 necro, 1 reaper)
We didn’t kill sabetha, but we’re honest, we couldn’t kill sabetha before the patch, either.
