New Raid boss idea
I agree it would be a good raid boss with some additional mechanics, but the collective rage at re-using a boss for raids would be unfortunate.
Better to create a new boss with mechanics inspired by Lupicus (including some fixes and tweaks since Lupicus is rather easily soloable) than simply re-using old content

Gorseval definitely reuses some of GL’s mechanics, such as consuming spirits for a damage boost. Otherwise, though, I like GL being in Arah—It gives me a reason to go back and do it periodically for fun.

They could use another Lupicus when we get to fight Kralkatorrik as a Raid since it makes sense with the lore in Crystal Desert.
Wasn’t the Arah Lupi supposed to be one of the smaller giants? So how about regular sized one that isn’t corrupted by Zhaitan?

Yeah, the ones in Crystal Desert are bigger than Elder Dragon champions.
Remove Giganticus Lupicus from Arah
WHAT ? Even the idea of a full underwater raid isn’t as terrible as this.
But where I agree with you is that I feel raids would be good with bosses that are a mix between Lupicus and current raid bosses. While I like the overall mecanics of the rcurrent raid bosses I would like fighting a boss with those party wise organisation + a boss who have a lot of different attacks that I have to dodge a lot.
Plus one this! Lupi is diff from almost every pve fight in gw2 because you gotta dodge so many attacks and not just mechanics, would be awesome to have it as a raid boss. As the 2nd Wing is supposed to be harder making more attacks that everyone has to dodge would be awesome, unlike now where you can be pretty much be carried in raids as long as you bring enough dps. Let’s face it some classes in raids now are just dps bots lol they don’t really play any complicated roles but just dps. Where’s the excitement of dodging that grub shot attack or any attack for that matter, current raid bosses don’t really have much attacks to dodge. I feel more excitement when that frog champion thingy from the vb is chasing me than any of the attacks in raids, except for maybe sabetha’s flame wall when you are exceptionally close to it lol
