New Rewards?
I liked the idea of a trait/skill being a dungeon reward. You should bring this up in suggestion forums too.
Oooh, this is interesting.
It’s also somewhat reminiscent of the old elite skills from Guild Wars. Back there, almost every boss had an elite skill that you could “capture”. Something similar upon dungeon completion, be it an item, a skin or a skill… that’d be nice.
So I guess you still dont understand what Guild Wars is about
You cant add skill, trait, etc reward to dungeon because that would disadvantage any other player that doesnt have this skill, that doesnt run dungeons and does only WvW, etc. The main point of current reward from dungeons (armor with same stats) is that, it wont make you better, it wont give you any advantage over other players.
Now just imagine this, how many players you see whining that some dungeons are hard, legendaries are also hard to obtain, its based on RNG .. bla bla bla
We atleast have argument, that they dont need to do dungeons, they dont need legendary cause its only cosmetic thing, it doesnt provide any kind of adventage and its optional. If these things give us advantage, you would see 100x more rage from those lazy complainers.
My suggestion is to add something valuable to drop from chest, ectoplasm, lodestones, etc etc. Something that players needs and what gives them the reason to farm dungeons even when they dont need tokens.

Really? When this was one of the things that characterized Guild Wars?
Because given the ability to scale and such, it’s impossible to make these “captured skills” impossible to use in the WvW setting?
How about mini-pets? 1 green and 1 rare from every dungeon. Reasonable prices ofc, like 500 tokens for green and 800-1000 for rare. For example in CoE green would be any of inquest golems, while rare – subject alpha
Skills are pretty nice, I think giving a skill after completing all paths (+story mode) would be fair enough. Same rules as for racial skills, disabled in PvP (should be in WvW as well), slightly weaker in comparition to typical class skills. I’d put them only in elite slot, preventing people from seting 3x dungeon skill in utility slots. Also they should be really elite, so casting them would be something really uncommon, spamming them like every 30-60 seconds is just wrong

Yeah, I mean it’s not like Guild Wars has ever had Elite PvE only skills that you had to obtain from the world or anything like that.

This. Make PvE only elites. Nothing more and I don’t think it would hurt anyone. Even so WvW is supposed to imbalanced, they said so themselves.
Just a suggestion….an elite shout for warriors. Please?
How about cosmetic skills! remember the mistfire wolf? he’s so sexy! I want a different cosmetic skill for each dungeon! eg. Arah – give me a summon mistfire lupicus! no utility value, just looks awesome! remember GW1, how if u were a high rank in Pvp, u got the deer emote/wolf emote/phoenex emote/dragon emote? same deal!
