New Swampland Fractal is Fantastic.
It’s actually supposed to be a Fractal encounter that serves as a training ground for raids, so it looks like they did a good job by your description! I agree, I think the new Swamp is fantastic.
I like the Swampland revamp as well. You should check out Cliffside because that was reworked a bit as well.
Was even more fun when they first changed it. The nerf to Bloomy afterwards was unnecessary.

Yeah I dunno even what the nerf did, but suddenly it’s like easy mode on t4, especially dying once is very forgiving since entire group can just stop what they doing and go back to res, while one guy kites bloom away or something. It’s kinda lame but recently I notice with grps that at the end of it not one in team is even dead, get it on 1st try. In contrast, thaumanova and molten boss both which should be easier, I got grps wiping on the 1st attempt almost all the time. So dunno ill see if this change but tbh bloom phases too fast even in t4, it’s kinda noticeable also
I find the Bloomhunger fight to be generally more difficult than most of the raid encounters. The raid fights are generally predictable, Bloomhunger can have some difficulties with surviving the swarms.

I will try to convince my Fractal team of this — we can kill Bloomie; we don’t do so well versus Raid bosses (regardless of needing 10 vs 5).
Just my experiences, the raid fights are boring and too one dimensional for my tastes

No, it was a very good change. Now the invulnerable phases have durations dictated by how fast you kill the adds, which is vastly superior to just sitting around for 2 minutes waiting for it to be over.

You’re right about his invuln phase. But then there were the nerfs to attack frequency and some other things, which I was talking about.

They only really changed the way he chains skills together to prevent him from doing crazy things that left him open for minutes of ranged DPS. The rest of it was bug fixing, making the Oakheart champs less stupid, and reducing Bloomy’s melee hate so people wouldn’t feel compelled to range all the time. Only other thing you might consider a nerf is slower projectile speed, but it was such a small reduction that you can barely notice (especially in close range). In many cases, the ‘nerfed’ parts of Bloomhunger’s encounter were given higher damage to keep them threatening. You can remind yourself of all of the changes here.
imo bloomhunger is one of the best bosses in the game, but I wouldn’t say it’s harder than raids.

Yes, most of the “Nerf” was just easing some of the things that felt unfair. When I made the balance change I wasn’t trying to make it overall easier, just more fair and fun, based on personal experience and feedback from you guys. I think it succeeded in that regard. Besides, Bloomhunger doesn’t need to be the hardest fractal boss. There is plenty of room to do that in future fractals.
Also, thanks for stroking my ego a little bit guys.

please sir,
can we have some more!!!
