Why cant we get amulets and accessories by doing fractals? I dont want to do the stupid laurel stuff.

Add all Ascended stuff to Fractal vendors for Pristine Relics.
Add all Ascended stuff to WvW vendors for Badges of Honor.

Anything would be better than the current situation.

It’s pretty annoying.

All I know is they better add more laurels for other achievement points, add Ascended gear to WvW, and add them to Fractals soon or it’s going to be extremely annoying to ever gear up alts.

This is ridiculous, fractal gears for anything but fractals. The people who actually uses them can’t get them fast enough.

The new rings infused recipes weren’t added in this patch by a mistake or something and will eventually get fixed.

About the topic ~ Had a feeling that accessories would be added to the laurel system aswell as the amulet. In my opinion it’s pretty frustrating to have yet another patch update where another ascended piece is added to the laurel system instead of adding it also to the FoTM vendor.

I enjoy doing Fractals and I don’t mind grinding for weapon skins and rings even though the RNG doesn’t always favor me but being forced to grind tasks that has nothing to do with the instance itself in order to get ascended gear to let you progress further in the instance makes no sense to me.

No sense at all I’m afraid…it’s ridiculous.

Everything that is available via laurel vendor should be available via badge vendor.

Fractal gear should be obtainable with dungeon tokens as well. There is just no way the current system can remaim this way.

Problem solved.

I would like to see Ascended weapons and armors. I would like to see how we will going to get them. Boots 100 laurs + 500 ecto + 50 command + 100g.

So you all know, the Ascended accessories can also be purchased from Guild vendors for 5 gold and a guild commendation. Do some of those new guild missions and you can get the accessories quite easily.

It will take a minimum of 5 weeks to attain accessories through guild missions due to the nature of guild mission unlocking. It might be easy, but there is a massive time gate on the guild mission currency.

But this is also no different than laurels, which also have a massive time gate of 4 weeks to get this currency. And since these are not available through fractals, don’t expect many to have the new ascended stuff anytime soon, let alone get any for their alts.

Has anyone see the new ascended rings (e.g. P/P/T) as a reward from Jade Maw since the patch or are they something that can only be purchased?

Speaking about the “price” of new stuff…

In my strictly MMO point of view, the accessories rank (stats and price) is:
Top: Necklace (in GW2, amulet)
Mid: 2 Earrings
Bottom: 2 Rings

Now, in GW2 (speaking about Laurels) is:
Top: Earrings (40 laurels + 50 glob of ecto for JUST ONE)
Mid: Rings (35 laurels for JUST ONE)
Bottom: Amulet (30 laurels)

Though, the stats are Amulet>Earrings>Rings

It’s just silly…
