New fractal?
It seems unlikely to me, but hey you never know. As for CM, is it the new norm that we expect every new fractal to have a cm? Sorta defeats the point of having a tiered system. If that’s the case, they might as well just introduce tier 5 with a different daily system.
I can’t give any specific dates on when the next fractal will release unfortunately, for reasons that I cannot discuss. Know that the fractals team is working very hard, and I for one am very excited for the next fractal. It is my favorite so far.

My guess is that Anet wants to limit any announcements like this to its official channels – understandable, what with the leaks and insider trading Anet has had to deal with in recent months.
Guess we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to see if it drops. Lovely if it does come, but I’m fine waiting another couple of months since it sounds like it will be worth waiting for.

Im sorry that t4 is a cake walk :/ but the cm for 100 was too good to do once in a year and no it doesnt defeats the point of tiered system since ppl majorly do the tiers and the cm is fr those few that will go a step further.

I’m not saying people don’t use the tiers. But it just seems odd to have 5 levels of difficulty, but 4 of them fit into the tier system, and one outlier has this other system called challenge motes. Its just another example of anet being consistently inconsistent, but hey, at least we don’t have to grind out 200 AR so that’s nice.

The challenge motes exist outside of the tier system for those who like to have more content to do on a daily bases. The 4 tiers alreeady exist and are kept consistent this is just a pefect way to add harder encounters without the need to farm more ar or the danger of an easier form of it not being accessible to more players. Like you said. ^^ so yeah never hurt to start adding more and more. And tbh this is what fractals need more things to do in them
I don’t think CM100 really constitutes a 5th tier, just an extra challenge like the other challenge motes. Even the once-daily rewards aren’t even on the level of a daily chest, nor is it listed anywhere as a daily (which CAN start to feel required).
^ that tbh see it more like an off the record activity for us to do and i would love more off the record activities
