New mesmer heal is pretty kitten. You can get 2 chained wardens up right away (assuming they don’t bug out and fail to attack).

Defiant Stance – use on Arah orbs, maximum worth

Litany of Wrath could be useful in situations where you have a large number of mobs that are taking a lot of damage from you (Arah p1 crystal bosses)

Arcane Brilliance is excellent, blast finisher + damage + procs Arcane Lightning

no comment on the rest. Mesmer heal should be OP, thief seems garbage

Thief skill is garbage, necro skill… bad heal but the active has a minimum dps boost for your party – still bad, ranger skill is so bad I’m tempted to label it as worst skill ever after the sylvari skill “turret”. No comment on the engineer.

I was thinking the ranger skill could actually be alright in some cases, since 70% chance to proc an 800 heal on hit, with no internal cooldown, sounds pretty strong. This is getting an average of 560 HP per strike, and with no internal cooldown that’s like pre-nerf omnomberry pie/ghost powerful.

The problem is with the spirit dying, so you need to position it well.

It has an internal cooldown.

Water spirit basically gimps your own self healing and condition removal for a very small and unnoticeable party support. It’s “okay” if you don’t need the condition removal, you know it won’t die, or if your party is ranging.

10 second icd on a 805 heal; then you have a 3k8+2k heal on a 1 second cast time, 20 second cd. So, 2 1/2 seconds before you can actually heal yourself, because you have to first cast the spirit -1 1/2, then 1 second to heal (3k8) and then the spirit will be commanded to area heal for a whopping 2k. By that time you’ll be old and gray and your team will be dead. You can barely see the health bar moving, and if your spirit dies you’re without heal for 20 secs.
Worst healing skill ingame.
