Guild Wars 2

So im starting my GW2 journey just bought the HoT expac, and got a lvl 80 boost.
PVP wise im in love with necro, i love the playstyle and the dmg (some guy gave me a build for power reaper, in my 1st game i got 1st dmg and kills).

But for what i can tell, in spvp (i wont do WvW as i hate mass pvp) lvls dont matter.

So from a PvE perspective, I want to do dungeons and fractals only, is necro a good choice? I read theres alot of hatred to necro and the dps is low and no party buffs etc, the posts were kinda old, is this still true? Îs it rly worthless to play necro in dungeons and fractals?

If yes what do u suggest i use my boost on? As I said I love necro gameplay both power reaper and condi is there any class that plays like that but better for pve?

Dungeons are mostly dead content and fractals are ruled by necros and ppl that know what they’re doing. But mostly necros, the condi kind that spams epi to kill trash mobs instantly to be more specific.

As it stands necros are only able to play condi and power. Next expansion is suppose give us a support spec. There’s also talk of a rework on reapers to make them the power based spec they were supposed to be in the first place.

and whats the build used for fractals?

You can use anything really, as long as you know what you’re doing. This is my personal build for fractals

I sometimes swap the gs out for a wh for the swiftness.
