Guild Wars 2

I’m quickly approaching level 30, and I understand that is when I will get to run my first dungeon. I’m just curious if I will get a quest for it, or how I will know where it is, and how to get there. I’ve only touched four maps and one city so far, so I have not been around much.

The game is great so far, but some things are not very intuitive for me. I’m used to being spoon fed everything by the MMO that shall not be named. I really enjoy the not knowing, and having to ask for advice. It is refreshing.

I think the first dungeon you can do is lvl 35 Ascalonian Catacombs. You’ll get a mail telling you about it and it should show up on your map when it does. GW2 is different. And if instanced a lot in that “other” mmo then you’ll have to adjust a little bit to this one. Roles are a little different.

As soon as you hit 30 you will see an email arrive that will have a button “show me”

Once you hit that it opens your large map, zooms in where the dungeon entrance is, and then it will permanently be on your map.

Same when you hit 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80.
