No CoF Nerf
Hurrah! No CoF nerf. Guess we can CoF for another patch or two.

Did you really think they will nerf this? EVERY harder dungeon is heavy nerfed loot wise, if they nerf this most people that run dungeons will:
1) Find next supereasy 4 warr + mes dungeon (se, coe p1 maybe)
2) Quit game for good
I don’t see why players can’t have at least one place to farm items/gold. They already nerfed the loot drops almost everywhere else. I have done some CoF p1, but it gets boring really fast. If you really want to grind for gold for whatever reason, let there be a place.
Cranked, if gold income is balanced out, the prices of things should come down, if nobody can afford overexpensive stuff then it will have to be listed for less
But instead people just farm more instead of not buying. You bring it on yourself.

Seriously though, it’s very likely that the nerf-hammer will hit it sooner than later; if they restart their “dungeon renovation” project which made the new AC.
You can’t just make these little tiny bandaid changes, you have to comprehensively reform the system.
- Add a proper in-game LFG system. Like what we had with the Christmas jumping puzzle.
- Get rid of dungeon tokens entirely, or turn them all into one type of currency
- Add a ‘Join Specific Dungeon’ button, with a 24h lockout timer for each dungeon.
- Add a ‘Join random dungeon’ button, no lockout on that.
That’s exactly how WoW’s LFG system works, and that system is the only way to get people to play every single dungeon, instead of just what’s easiest and fastest.
Right now people pick CoF because: It’s easy, it’s good money, it’s got the most popular stat combos (Berserker, Rabid [I think?], Rampager).
I know what you’re going to say, ‘BOO LFG! Then everyone will be a jerk and min/max and leave the second the run goes poorly!!’, well it’s already like that.
You already have “LF3M zerker warriors only!!!”, you already have people leaving the group and causing the entire party to get kicked, you already have people going in with poor gear, and people being asked to link all their gear.
At least with the LFG system you can actually enforce bare minimums, you can punish people for leaving dungeons prematurely, and you can disincentivize running the easiest dungeon.

How do they care? Heavy nerfing the loot at 48+ FotM and disableing you to progress past lvl 50? Yea i see how they care.

Lower level dungeons would have to reward smaller amounts of currency, you’re forgetting that the rares they sell are actually leveled based on the dungeon and can’t just be removed as a method for the low lvls to gear.

I haven’t played Wow in a year, but the LFG was terrible when I did. DPS queues were 45 minutes for heroics. Gw2lfg.com has been a Godsend. Granted the majority of the posts for CoF are “lfXm zerker warriors only. Ping gear,” there’s still plenty of people posting for a “normal” group.
