Howdy. I just finished doing my first dungeon at lvl 80—Ascalon Catacombs, story mode. I understand the explorable mode is harder. I’m only really interested in Soldier’s Armor, which is apparently obtained from the Ascalon Catacombs, Sorrow’s Embrace or Honor of the Waves. So far as I know, it can’t be crafted.

I don’t particularly care for how any of them look and was going to transmute them anyway, I just care about the stats. As the group went their seperate ways, some ppl mentioned that although AC is the first dungeon, it is not necessarily the easiest?

Is this the case? Which of the 3 dungeons I mentioned would be the most/ less challenging? I’m not a big fan of dungeons and the less time I spend in them would be so much the better for me. As it is, we died a few times on story mode, so I expect explorable to be a pain.

Ascalonian Catacombs, easiest
SE is not that hard, but p2 takes too long
and HotW is just boring for farm

AC all paths, SE p3 and also p1 since they nerfed it (save the golems), HotW p1. Well, in general, you’re lucky. All these dungeons are easy. SE path 2, Hotw p2-3 might be long, but they aren’t challenging if you can gather 5 players with a working brain. Farm them all!

SE 1&3 are both relatively quick and easy. 2 is really long. Also SE armor is the best of the 3 imo.

You can also potentially get pvt armor at orr temples depending on your class.

Just be careful with the Orr temple ones. The pieces from a single temple do not have the same prefix.

Dont get pvt armor from orr temples. You should save up your karma for the soldier accessories (available from the temple of grenth). Stick to the dungeons for armor.
