I knew from what happened on my first Belka attempt that this was no ordinary casual run, no sir!
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on some blooper material to make a compilation and I just got plenty

For Belka I suggest shake it off + signet of fury + banner, because most of the time unless you do a splendid job at evasions/positioning yourself, you’ll have to run OOC periodically to regenerate hp. You can have an axe offhand on weapon swap to smack her with #4 and immediately 100b each time you run back in.

Either that or just shake it off + FGJ + banner. Just keep the banner— the precision it gives + the extra ferocity is a lottt :P

Just use Hoelbrak runes and lemongrass food, your 2 best friends in wvw and at soloing Belka

Who can resist lootbags that walk up to you screaming for you to take their contents?

Wow so much worms that you didnt dodge ; There are some tricks to use on war against lupi, use you skill 3 to avoid anything after one hundred blade, dont forget to use your F1 to get a 50% dodge ;
Also you should play Axe Sword, the recast on skill 5 is way faster than shield, thing is you can’t use it face to him at frontline.
Moreover, even if the world record players dont use any endure pain or stability (they get him next to the wall) it’s always good to have one of it to make sure when you can’t dodge something or when you’re low hp

For Belka I usually ditch the banner and munch on some truffle steaks, having SIO! always available is a luxury that lets me run out of combat even when really low unless I get lucky and one my embers/pets draws aggro for long enough for me to kill her in 1 go.

Watching this again always makes me laugh, I was playing so poorly even forgot I didn’t trait fast hands at times lolz.

I tend to do that very often along with not swapping weapons. Led to some awkward solos. Though I use stamina signet for Lupicus so that never screwed me up completely. Rather be safe than angry after greatsword autoattack locks you up and you don’t get whirlwind off or sword block casts too slow due to a lagspike.

Oh and the joy of realising you’ve had the wrong greatsword for the whole dungeon at Brie even though their models are completely different.

Nothing like forgetting to switch weapons back after changing them for a running section…

Sometimes on mesmer I’ll use staff for a skip then forget to put the offhand sword back. Then in a fight, try to swap to offhand sword… those 10 seconds will feel so long.
