Joined an Be exp zerk arah p2 run and it was going fine but the theif was complaining about the guard not running as quick as the rest of the group and being super toxic about it and at the end he offered me 200 gold to kick the guardian so he would not get the reward chest. In the end I went and killed the final boss just to spite him(he told me to die), thought it was kind of funny so I posted it here xD

I run into more people like that in PvP than anywhere else in game, but yeah, that’s definitely off the wall. You should report him and submit the unadjusted screenshots as evidence.

Yes, they do, but saving them the time goes a long way, especially when most people can’t remember the name of the person who griefed them or when the griefing even happened.

… Don’t they have logs?
Trust me, as someone who had in the past to do support for many websites (and some times today aswell), you absolutely love screenies that show the exact situation. Yes, they have the logs, but it’s a real pain in the kitten to seek a particular thing in this monstruous quantity of text.
Yeah I can see why a screenshot would be easier, but if you right click someone’s name that’s the target of the report and wouldn’t it get a timestamp? So at 12:31:54 Soandso is reported, they look at the logs of his text for the last 30s-1min and see where it happened? I mean do these people being reported rattle off 1000 lines in a minute to make it hard to find the offense? Is the system different than my understanding? I don’t know, it doesn’t seem like it’d be an issue.
In the OP if he reported the “go die” it’d be like “ok look at the whispers between these two people, ohh that took a minute”.
Maybe I’m completely off, but I can’t help but feel that either their system is complete kitten, or it’s just a sorry excuse to not do anything.
To be fair I completely understand how that guy feels, been there done that, had someone on my team who just isn’t on par with the rest of the group and not in the mood to guide nobody (I do guide people at times but sometimes you just want to get the run done smoothly and quickly). But, you were right in not taking the money, he would have kicked you right after when he didn’t needed the 3rd vote to kick. I won’t take sides on this matter, because I don’t know what exactly went on in the dungeon/don’t know how bad he was playing/maybe he was using the wrong skills at the wrong time. I’m just gonna be the Devil’s advocate and tell Mr. Toxic over there : I feel ya bruh.

I will say, there have been times where I think people shouldn’t be rewarded. I would never actively try to stop someone from getting a reward. But I can remember a couple pugs who were so reliant on cheese tactics in arah, I just thought “man these people don’t deserve a reward”.
For some reason I’m more irritated by seeing the period at the end of every single line that they’re typing to you. It’s like they’re going out of their way to seem as detached from human emotion as they possibly can lol

Because it’s mostly people from PvP settings who bleed over to PvE who bring this attitude with them.
Had a fractal 50 with an unguilded warrior with Champion title, needless to say he was overly attached to the words “kittened” and “idiot”.
OP should be grateful this was a short Arah run and not an hour long fractal 50 pug affair where you can’t even leave after extended abuse because of the time investment.
