Guild Wars 2

Just noticed after my recent Arah run, that all the dungeon vendors sell items called Offering. Arah vendor sells Offering of Zhaitan, CoE vendor sells Offering of Knowledge and so on.

Anyone know what these are for? Also, I did not find these on gw2database yet. I did not link an image, because it is easy to check it ingame.

They are for the recipes that required dungeon tokens before.

Are you talking about “gifts”? Those are part of Legendary recipes. For example, you need the Gift of Zhaitan to make The Bifrost. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Zhaitan

Is there “offering of ascension”? That be actually useful for fractal token mystic toilet recipes.

Those recipes don’t use fractal relics anymore but dust.

Those offerings are used for crafting specific dungeon-related trinkets like the:
