Guild Wars 2

A few years back there was a thread where someone was complaining about the number of duplicate rings he had collected and he didn’t know what to do with them.

He was running out of space and asked if they could be deleted.

A dev responded saying he should keep his extra rings as there will be a use for them in the future.

I have searched and searched and cannot find the thread. Did any of you comment on this thread? Can you link it? We’re you the dev that said that?

I need to see it again as my guildies think I am crazy for keeping them all. I have a char full of over 80 rings and I have this feeling the use for them might be in the expansion.

Please help me find this, I will send an in game pressie if you can find this dev post telling that player not to delete his rings!

There isn’t currently, but the expansion does seem to have some fractal focused things about it. I think the general consensus is that we’re hoping for at least a ring collection if not something more for the stockpiles people have.

I thought that thread was about ascended materials like bloodstone, empyreal, and dragonite. I had never seen anything about rings.

I thought it was either Gaile or Danicia in one of the living story forums. I thought it was during the battle for lions arch.

nope…. This post was way before battle of lions arch, before scarlet even.

I think its been lost, but I definitely remember reading a red post replying to someone moaning about having to many rings. This red post said to hang onto the rings.
