If someone has a better strategy, by all means, comment with it here. I have noticed a lot of people I run Crucible of Eternity with do not know the proper way to quickly kill this boss. It is not a glitch. It is not a cheat. This is simply the best way to do it, without wasting time.

Strategy:

You only need four people for this strategy. Have one person go afk or something. I do not care, they are not invited for the boss.

Each of the four gets a corner to themselves. Each person needs to stand to the side of their corner, just out of range of where the mini golem will agro. You wait for him to run out AND stop halfway from his spawn to the Husk. When he stops, start the subversion beam and watch him run directly into the Husk and explode.

DO NOT DOUBLE SUBVERT! (This is when two players attempt to subvert the same golem at the sametime) If you do, they will not react how they should. It messes up their AI and they will not run right in. You will end up chasing him around which will agro other team member’s corners.

DO NOT RUN AROUND AND AGRO THE MINI-GOLEMS.

TL;DR: 4 people get 4 corners. Only subvert after golem finishes running out. Do not double up subvert. 5th player sits afk, out of agro.

Telling pugs this has always been a real pain. Its easier to just tell them to all wait outside and solo it.

If only people would read this. And a fyi you can do it just about as quickly with just 2 people at either door alternating golems. Personally even when asking people to hang back or trying to teach them people still rush into the middle and blow up robots away from the husk… /shrug PUGlife I’ve just come to accept it, and if they’re all in the middle I’ll just /sleep outside the room and jump in if I see a robot not being agroed.

Yeah, that is why I am hoping some of them read the forums and see this, or something better that someone else comments.

Only allowing one slacker seems kind of mean when two people do it as fast as four.

Best strategy is subverting the husk itself though. Husk with perma 25 might is more challenge.

Also always subvert Alpha.

The guide is good. Could you make a guide for convincing pugs that this is the way to do it? That’s where I’m struggling.

I have done that into the Alpha stacking spot. 4 downs, priceless mesmploits.

This! I did that to one of my guildies. We both had to stop a moment cos, well, we were laughing too hard. Then I had to res her. :p
