PUGs and LFG
Oh I’m an kittenhole. These people knowingly join my party and then get mad when I ask them to ping their gear.
It’s akin to seeing dog excrement on the street and instead of ignoring it they jump on it and then roll around in it and scream ‘omg it stinks, I hate it, it’s horrible wtf is going on omg!’

There is actually something more about using berserker gear. Most dungeon paths can be completed with way less than 5 people(except CoE lasers and the like) but it’s slower
I have no idea where you are going with this. Berserker’s gear is good because dungeons can be completed with less than five people? How does one thing lead to another?
people who can survive in full dps gear are obviously better than people running magi or apothecary or whatever crap some run.
I thought the fact that gear does jack kitten about your survival, aside from agony resistance, was well known and generally accepted to be true.
I can see why knight’s and soldier’s would be frowned upon, but why would you reject, for example, rabid or assassin’s gear?
1. Dungeons are easy enough to be completed with less people but sometimes you want efficiency.
2. People who can survive in berserker OR assassin tend to be better players because it’s harder to not die in those as compared to gears that have vitality, healing power blabla *
3. More than that the gear itself makes the run faster because yes, dps does matter
- Your confusion about this may arise because you consider only fractals. In most dungeons, even fractals to a certain extent, gear does affect your survivability. It is however counter-productive because of the vicious cycle that occurs when heals( and other defensive skills) go on cooldown because it took forever to kill said mob and armor itself cannot protect you enough.

Besides, knowing how to stack might/fury/vuln is the matter of equal importance with running dps gear.
People knowing all this stuff indeed are very rare birds in PUGs.
