Party Size in dungeons
It’s easy enough as it is with 5. 8 would mean they’d have to buff dungeons even more, meaning a possible good amount of bugs.
I think it would be great if dungeons would scale for a party size between 5-9 players, so that no one is left behind if there are not enough people for two groups. And yes I know you can just take random people with you, but sometimes it would be nice to have just a guild group and not leave guildies behing.
Yeah. Its nice to be able to have a good size guild party to explore dungeons. We have lots of guildies that love working together in a group and it hard to pick some and leave others behind. And if it was possible to make larger parties available, I think it would increase guild participation. I like the idea of The commander, where you can have large parties for other events. It makes guilds feel like they are working together. Something likke that on a much smaller scale would be awesome for dungeons.
add Hard Mode = 8 players = much harder mobs = much better loot from trash mob and chest = is all play.
I wish Dungeons would scale in scope and difficulty with party size too. Though I think it should be from 1-12. We may be able to tun dungeons solo right now but, it’s not survivable AFAIK. I like being amongst everyone in WvW and PvE. Though Dungeons, not so much. Everyone’s taking them WAY too seriously and it’s becoming a negative environment.
Dungeons could be available to us as an extension of our personal story line missions too. It just needs to scale properly. I think it would be a lot of fun if in solo mode there were secret passages, things to subvert to our advantage like turrets/weapons/bombs, that kind of thing. Who would like going all Ninja in a dungeon????
