Is there a reason why Anet kept merging kick?

And why is Anet endorsing this kind of behaviour?

I would have excpected to be fixed in the big patch, but apparently this is all beyond their capacities of programming, since nobody would think of keep a SIMPLE feature in beta for 1 year.

There is no merging bug anymore. It’s been fixed for quite some time.

For someone so highly critical of their programming capabilities, I’d at least expect you to be aware of what’s happening to you to get you kicked to begin with ;P

The only way for you to lose your instance is to either:
a) swap characters while you’re the instance host
b) kick the other person when you’re a host and the party consists of two people (it counts as the party disassembling because when you’re alone, you aren’t considered as a “party,” which is why when you post on the LFG as a lone person your post gets removed within 5 minutes of inactivity… I believe as an anti-spam measure or something?)
c) leave a party when you’re the host
d) get kicked by 2 other people while you’re a host
e) get disconnected/leave your instance without returning within 10 minutes

Once again, the merging bug was removed.

That’s sound strange, today 3 party (mine as well) got instakilled when 2 player entered, unless ofc they used a script to kick in the exact moment they entered the party…

They could be using a macro, or maybe they just did it really fast. Either way, merge is fixed.
