Duo’d a path today with a friend, three people join the group at the same time, they weren’t even in the same map as the dungeon so I automatically assumed they were new players that perhaps didn’t read the lfg, I politely ask them to leave my instance if they are not buying the path. Next thing me and my friend are kicked out of the instance.

I check the lfg and sure enough my instance is now being sold by these kittens. This has been going on for years now and I’m amazed that you simply don’t give players the option to make a group with party leader privileges, players that do not want to join these groups wouldn’t join and we could play our own way.

Anyway I have screenshots of these kittens stealing the instance and then selling it and not that it matters but I even took the time to report them even though I know a kitten thing won’t be done about it. Thank you for this wonderful game with this wonderful community.

I don’t know why if your path was stolen before, that you’d enable it to happen again the exact same way the next time you decide to sell it. When it happened to me the first time in 2013 I learned from it and just invited placeholders so there’s no reason for you not to do so as well.

This is the first time this has happened to me, I have seen other people complaining about it for years is what I mean, I don’t have a large group of friends available 24/7 to invite into instance. I’m angry that these people will go unpunished and they will continue to steal instances just like that other guy I seen people talking about a while ago.

My own stupidity does not change the fact that the lfg tool is absolutely horrible, it is so open to abuse if you don’t have majority anyone can come in and just kitten with your party. I was on the third fractal once and I was advertising a while before the reset time and some level 36 joined with 300ap (this was a fractal 50) I even explained to him that he did not have the requirements to the content for the group that he joined and even after we kicked him he just kept joining over and over again until we couldn’t post anymore because our group was locked due to ‘spam’.

I will learn from my mistake and will probably have to start multi-boxing on my other account whenever I do dungeons/fractals and anet’s policy isn’t clear enough to define what is and isn’t legal which is partly why I have avoided using my second account, also the multiwars client gave me artifact issues and other performance related stuff. If anet is going to make content that people can solo or do without 5 people in a group the players shouldn’t need to jump through hoops or do anything at all for that matter, the system should be intuitive enough to suit the means of each group no matter what size the group is or whatever the content they are doing I realize anet doesn’t support instance selling but even if we were giving a path away for free it still could have been stolen.

Last but not least give the kittening players some idea what the content is, the description for fractals 40+ is “harder fractals with chance of rings skins, and ascended chests” It doesn’t even explain that the player will need a certain amount of agony resist and that they may need to know what to do before hand on some fractals.

you could also just finish the instance and go on to next I assume you do it for the challenge if not you should be able to pug 3 spots easily from the start.

Do it for the challenge, money is nice too.
