This kind of players are getting more common, in a day alone I’ll get about 4 runs with this kind of players.

Everytime when dungeon is completed the person and his fren would just kick other players just before the rewards are given or a chance to open the chest.

The worst part is, party chat keeps clearing up after getting kicked, I can’t record who to avoid or to report.

We shouldn’t have to do that… All chat should stay in our Log somewhere (even if we have to create a separate Tab for it).

I’m not saying we should have to do that but the fact is you kinda have to do that.
And devs do not read this forum anymore so don’t expect them to see your post.

And interestingly enough, this wasn’t a problem until people started making up stories about getting kicked out of groups. Now it really happens to people because the bad men learned they could do it from reading all of the made up white-knight stories? This is amazing.

Pugs, simple as that. LFG tool is going to make this worse.

And I am notoriously unlucky But it only happened like once for me in 8 months of pugging.

Yeah, I’ve been getting the same impression lately.

The fact that it happens 4 times in a row makes me think people might not like your signet sword/warhorn build or your condi elementalist or whatever…

When I first started playing the game I actually used to run full MF on my guardian using staff most of the time cos I kept dying when trying to melee (not quite the troll leeching build I made in the guardian forums but pretty close). I never got kicked although come to think of it I really deserved it. I was always friendly though

Bad players or not, kicking to prevent them from receiving rewards is still bad, and its still a act of a douch* bag. You know who you are, dun give lame excuses.

And normally bad players gets kick halfway for being bad or leeching, not after clearing the whole dungeon just before the rewards are given.

Actually I missed this kind players when GW2 started while I’m running around with lvl 7x gear, but now I see more and more douch* bags appear in the game.
Like Nubs acting as pros by talking down on the team refusing to admin it.

I indeed know who I am. I am someone who doesn’t PUG, ergo it’s pretty hard for me to be the one that kicks them.

But nice passive aggressive accusation though.

Just place a stiff limit on party kicks. Give people 2-3 kicks a week limit so they really have to think about whether the kick is necessary, or they can just leave the group and find another party if the efficiency levels are not up to their standards.

I PUG dungeons all the time. Never happened to me (yet).

When I join a pug, I usually have a chat with the team first. You can get a decent impression of their attitude right away. If they seem unreliable or not very social, then be sure you are the first one to enter the Fractal.

Depends on timing, This douch* bags normally appear around 6-7Pm pst. And this trend start to happen only recently.

Oh, that’s how they sell dungeon spots then, i was wondering, how can those who offer arah for 6g and AC for1.5g reach the end of the dungeon, i never got kicked from a dungeon party but I’d be really mad if this has happened to me.

If you don’t want to put up with bad people, don’t PUG. You don’t use someone till the end, kick them, and them profit from it or benefit a guildie.

However satisfying it may be for the kitten e-thugs that have deemed it fit to lord around in the dungeons subforum.

That’s exactly why I don’t PUG. And exactly why I won’t be one of those ppl that kicks someone at the end to screw over some random person.

“You” can be used in the general sense, not addressing the specific behavior of the individual I’m addressing.

“You should not cheat” does not mean I’m telling you personally not to cheat.

Pretty much every PUG-making tool in other MMO’s has kick gating for a reason. And it’s because as nice as it is to think that everyone will be principled, some people veiled by anonymity will behave like pondscum, as it should be obvious in these forums.

For some people this will be among their first MMO experiences, and game makers won’t risk lousy human beings scaring potential customers away by limiting the reach of abusive behavior in PUGs.

Thanks to Brazil and Guang’s efforts in showing Rangers not to be trash, when I asked for an experienced run in gw2lfg and joined a group with a ranger I was fine with it. Until I got in, asked what they were running and it was longbow/bear heal build.

Why do PUGs have to be so bad.

For the record, I persisted and it turns out the group couldn’t do 1-4 to save their life, so after that I quit after 4 or so failed attempts with an incompetent protector.

Yeah, I mean I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a few half decent pug Rangers and Necros out there, but really it’s a 99% chance to get a bad one, so why risk it?

If they removed pets from the aggro tables you’d see a lot more rangers not running bear and longbow.

As it is they’re being coddled by having the bear and longbow for leveling — nothing really pushes them out of the comfort zone and by the time they get to 80 it’s too late.

And quite frankly it is sad that this game is so terribly balanced that instead of having all pets do similar damage and be distinguished by utility, they went ahead and only made 4 pets useful (drakes and cats for pve, ravens and for wvw and spvp ).

So in PvE out of that vast stable, you only use cats or drakes.

but in this case: yeah me too… PuG’d enough tokens for 3 full armors sets by now.
It probably does happen, it’s just rare b/c it’s not worth it for anyone besides serious trolls

Omg just earlier.. a guardian running mace/shield, full pvt, using no virtues at all, and no reflects in Sorrow’s embrace. My rage meter over 9000. -_-

I may make a video of me doing dungeon tour with random pugs. People have told me I should.. It will just be me yelling at the screen every couple seconds because of all the things that make me angry, but hey, if it makes people happy then it’s well worth the rage :O

But for real, on the Zadorojny path (forgot which that was. p3?) is reflect very important? I’m sitting on a full SE set and got through it nigh effortlessly several times without a reflect… but now that you mention it, that probably would have made the part where you break the APC a bit easier…
