Peoples target me or type -_- or ….. . When i ask what they want they say you should know ur +11k ap master level 129.

Sorry i got my achiments and master levels from other game modes.

I never joined games called “exp” or “meta zerk”.

Peoples just too lazy speak english.

Really though, I have no clue what you’re trying to get out of this thread. Are you just typing out a rant? Are you looking for clarification on why players assume your skill? Are you needing help/advice with something in the game?

The funny thing is I would much prefer the opposite. I would much rather someone admit they don’t know and encounter or event and ask for help. Rather than them say nothing and screw it up out of ignorance. Anyone that gives you crap because you ask for help, or more information, or general tips. They are an kitten.

I always ask in my squad if people are new to the events if i command meta events in HoT and there is always someone who asks for help/explanation

I think many people are discouraged by answers they got from people in this game or other games, so they just don’t ask anymore if they don’t know something

From what OP wrote, it seems to me like he did something wrong while trying to be invisible man in party.

Are you one of those who join level 40 fotm and have no clue what to do?
Then yea you get kicked.
Else if you dont KNOW stuff ask before you screw everyone over.
It take 10 seconds to explain something but instead because somone like to act pro
He pull more mobs than we can handle etc and wipe its not fun for anyone.

People aren’t too lazy to mentor. I used teach fractals before HoT, and as hard as i tried to have patience, there are allways people like from one yt video:

Person: ohhhh was i supposed to get out of the fire? I tought i was supposed to get IN the fire. I’ll sure remember this for the next time.

So i quit mentoring a while ago for the sake of my sanity. I do not whish explain anything to anyone again. Go to internet. Google. Practice with noob pugs and see if that’s fun to wipe over and over again because people are dense. I practiced with pugs and learned.

It is often a bad idea to join groups if you do not know what the description of the party means. If unclear, ask the map chat. Most people in LA will be more than willing to explain everything as chances are, they aren’t horribly busy. Furthermore, you (unfortunately) picked the worst group to ask to explain things to you – generally groups with that description are attempting to run through the content as quickly as possible, so most players will not be in the mood to explain what the description means.

With regards to the description: Exp usually means ‘experienced’ thus expects you not only to have done content before, but done it more than once. ‘Meta zerk’ means that the party is expecting all people joining to be using damage oriented builds/gear which have been generally accepted by the community (how actually good some of those builds are is debatable).

Original post is more than a little unclear. I drew my conclusions based on the following:

OP is obviously getting ridiculed for not knowing something by a portion of a population. Note, it is impossible to get targeted outside of party or raid, so I am assuming that he is in one when asking questions.

I am assuming the OP is not a primarily PvE player as 1) This is a Raid/Fractal forum and 2) It is far more likely for PvE player to assume that another player should have knowledge of PvE if they have 10k+ AP.

This makes me conclude that he joined a ‘game’ (likely group) that was ’exp’and/or ‘meta zerk’ before getting the above-mentioned comments.

I could very well be wrong or reading too much into the post. But that was my interpretation of it.

Yeah, I learned that too. Nowadays it is so horrible, you can start an lfg with “READ: Level 80 ONLY” and there are always 1-4 players joining the group below 80. I haven’t had a full lvl 80 group since weeks in my first lfg attempts.
