First off, wasn’t sure whether to put this in dungeon or suggestion sections, as it is to do with dungeons but i kinda would like to suggest this be added.
Also, not sure if this has been discussed before, haven’t been very active on the forums lately.
So I don’t know about anyone else, but for me the story and lore in MMORPG games is a big part, and i really like that GW2 has a story to follow with cutscenes even in dungeons with story mode and explorable mode.
Now this may just be me being picky and OCD but i would love it if everyone in the dungeon saw their own personal version of the cutscene in dungeons, instead of whoever entered, so player 1 see themself in the cutscene, player 2 see themself and so on.
I say this because i would just feel more involved in the story and with what’s going on in cutscenes, maybe it’s just me but this would be better for me.
I know most people don’t even bother with cutscenes but i like to watch them, especially if i haven’t seen them before.
Also i know i could just be the one to enter if it’s that big of a deal but if we are entering exp mode and i haven’t done story obviously i can’t enter, also if someone is already there i don’t want to hold them up, and maybe other people like to see themselves in the story too.
I don’t think it would be too hard to make the change, obviously all the voice overs for every race/gender in every dungeon are already there, so just make it so the cutscenes treat it as if it’s solo or if you entered, so everyone see’s the same cutscene and hears the same dialogue but see their character saying it.
Would anyone else like to see this change too? or am i just being weird
