Something needs to be done about player kicking in parties. It should not take just 1 person to accept to kick a player out of the group. I usually wouldn’t complain but its getting out of hand with fractals. I’ll make it to the 2nd or 3rd fractal and get kicked for no apparent reason other than the 3 friends or guild members in the group want to swap in their guildies to take my loot.. This happens when I am not trash talking, working as a group, pulling my own weight, and usually playing better than the members of these guilds. Just PLEASE anet change this system in this big upcoming patch because I know I am not the only person who has experienced this.

Vote requires majority as far as I’m aware so 3 of 5 is majority. You can’t do anything about that and kicking feature must be in. All I can recommend is to do Fractals with tested players.

Nope, just 2 is required. Cause my Wife and I play in parties a lot. When I want to kick someone and she is AFk , I request kick, walk over to her PC, and agree. Bam. Kicked.

3 should’ve been needed since day one… I don’t understand how this went pass the eyes of anyone with enough authority to report it while it was in dev shape.

Look at the game state. We asked for dungeon tokens to be considered currency and not waste place in inventory since CBT. It’s almost year after release and we’re getting it in 6th aug finally. There are tons of similar things that require tweaking and shouldn’t ever reach the full release but hey, 2weeks living story time limited content is more important than base game apparently.

That sucks then. But still in OP’s case, there were 3 guys from the same guild, nothing you can do about it. There should just be option to report such behavior and Anet should punish it respectively.

ive only encountered this once (playing since headstart 2.3k hrs played, i wasnt the one kicked – me and another player were pugs in a 3 same guild party)… i find it hard to believe people encounter it as often as they do without doing something wrong
i often join guild parties as a fifth pug and dont feel worried they’re gonna kick me to invite someone else partway through the run (ive been asked if i would leave BEFORE starting a run because one of their guildies wants to join)
… or maybe im just lucky?
(by ‘this’ i mean kicking purely to invite a guild member)

I’ve never had this happen to me. The only times I see people kick others is when they are screwing things up by not listening, or obviously under-geared.
