It has been noted that certain popular stat distributions are not represented in the new Ascended rings. Cleric and Carrion equivalent gear are entirely absent, for example.

This seems like a fairly glaring oversight so I looked over the Ring stats as shown here: http://dulfy.net/2012/11/17/gw2-ascended-gear-and-infusion-recipes/

and noticed that several of the rings share stats.

Rurik’s Royal Signet Ring has the exact same stats as Adalbern’s Royal Signet Ring

as do:

Vassar’s Band and Ralena’s Band
Yakkington’s Ring and Snaff’s Gyre
Solaria and Lunaria

It seems to me that the simplest explanation for the missing stat distribution types is that someone copied the wrong stats onto some of the rings.

the rings are unique, so you can only wear one of each. That means 2 rings with the same stats have to exist.

Still wondering why they left out the stat distributions. If they want me to chase after a carrot, it really needs to be a carrot I actually want.
