Post Patch Dungeon Gold Rewards - Complete
TA up path is 1 gold.
CoE path 1 and path 2 = 1g
Arah P1 is 3g.
The higher reward for AC doesn’t really make any sense vs dungeons like CM and SE.
Well, at least as annoying as AC might be with its gimmick knockbacks, it’ll make it back into the rotation.
Always hated CM anyways. SE is pretty alright if you bring condi removal/group heals.
Are we sure these are hard-coded values and not tied to anything in particular like completing objectives?

I will also confirm your pricing on CM Path 2, SE Path 1, COF Paths 1 & 2 and Arah Path 3 are correct.

We could just update the wiki with the new bonus rewards.
So basically they just said “every dungeon 1g, Arah 3g”. They didn’t actually bother comparing run times or difficulty.

CoE is easy for pugs. It’s first-timers and casuals where it’s a nightmare.

The pricing is supposed to be done base on difficulty and time…There’s nothing faster and easier than CoF p1, yet almost every other path award the same amount…

That makes a lot of sense. Maybe they’ll increase the others if/when they get their reworks.
Not sure why CM is less than AC.
Some of these rewards really don’t make sense. It looks more like Anet didn’t want to make dungeon rewards “too rewarding” and held back the rewards in some paths. :/
I mean, TA F/U 1g? Arah p3 being worth just as much as AC? really? Why are some dungeons (that clearly take longer) being rewarded the same as a speedy CoF run?
I think the new rewards will get increased once the dungeons get fully revamped. That’s just my 2c, though.
This is probably just the starting point. Once they see what people are doing and where they are farming, they will adjust accordingly.
I’ll convince some LoD’ers to do SEp2 and CoFp3 for the sake of science. I reckon 2g.

Before running all three paths of CoF today, I was expecting something like 1-1-2. An even higher reward for path 3 would have not impressed me at all, not because it deserves it (which I don’t think so since it’s not that hard or long) but just in order to promote a really underused content.
The 1g reward for SE path 2 (the one that no Dungeon Master wants to run again, ever) it’s like a bad joke.
The paths that are going to get some love after this patch are the ones that weren’t in a bad spot right before it. The forgotten ones, those avoided for almost all the playerbase, seem condemned to remain the same.
The only good news are the 1.5g for AC, a dungeon that isn’t longer/harder than many other with smaller rewards but which was revamped some time ago. It brings me some hope on most dungeons receiving deep changes sooner or later.
Agreed. I mean by now they should know that not all paths are balanced and there is generally that one path in each dungeon is the least popular. I mean they bothered to make Arah p3 reward less than the other Arah paths, so why not balance the other dungeons the same way by increasing the rewards for less popular paths?
Such beautiful logic : SE p2 is worth as much as CoF p1, which is worth as much as anything else, except Arah and AC (which was probably done to promote it). Yet SE p2 takes more time than any other dungeons worth 1g…The only kind of players who’d want to go there are those who finished the other 24 explorable paths….and even then, it’s faster to do 2 SM, than having to deal with SE p2.
I’ve got the impression that there is no logic behind the rewards. I mean, almost everything on the level of Citadel of Fail path 1? LOL. It’s totally incomprehensible why they did not use the whole spectrum of possible rewards.

As i expected, another fail … “dungeon rewards”. I mean seriously ? AC -4,5g ? CM – 3g and every other dungeons except arah are worth 3g too? SE P2 – 1g ? Sorry but are you out of your mind? Well i expected that the dungeon on lower level will be worth like AC with 1g per path and higher lvl dungeons will have gold increased atleast lvl 80 dungeons ^^ AC – 3g CM – 3,5g TA – 4g, SE-4,5g, Cof – 3,5g, Hotw 5g, CoE – 6g, Arah – 12g. Its for example how i see that. Dont take me wrong, thats what i expected but no that the every f****ng dungeon is worth 3g even 80s dungeons > 35. … Anyway fractals fractals why not give us like 2-3g in daily reward on high lvl fractal, like 40-49 = 2g when your RNG is so cool? Why is every single dungeon 1g per path. Cmon Anet. HOTW is 1g per path? That dungeon takes FOREVER because you decided to jack health pools to stupid levels.
This has now been fully updated to reflect all gold rewards. In my humble opinion, this update by Anet shows little imagination or in fact understanding of their own dungeons and these rewards have absolutely no bearing on the difficulty or length of a dungeon in most cases.
It’s amazing how they think a CoF1 run is the same as many of the other dungeons they’ve priced at 1g.
This simply wasn’t done well at all.
I have to admit I am very upset about the changes and from my point of view if you are not doing AC or Arah you get punished how is this going to get more people to do other dungeons such as CM or SE it makes no sense at all.

speedrunners once a day earn moneys, no matter which dungeon, except some pathes.
if you want more money, just farm dungeontrash, kill all bosses and sell stuff.
worked well enough before and, for our small guild, had the sideeffect to train dungeon-newbs to know evry single boss+ losing fear of wipe = a dozen m8s on friendlists who care about and be able to use classmechanics in pve-teamplay.
chances are higher now for all players, who had a hard time finding non-speednap parties, to now have good times.
