Post-dungeon nerf blues
Does anyone else feel like the game is kind of…shallow and empty after this dungeon nerf? It’s really not meant as a QQ thread, but I really feel like I underestimated how much of my play time was spent in dungeons. Totally love the new maps, but the meta event zerging is starting to get old, and I just zone out like ‘Well, what the kitten do I do now?’.
Yes, dungeons are still there and surprisingly it isn’t too difficult to find parties but it really isn’t the same any more. The stakes are much lower and the motivation isn’t there. Might be time to take a break, I guess. Just wondering if anyone else is missing their daily dungeon tours as much as I do.
deincentivizing dungeons has left a large gap in the small group content. I like fractals, but thats basically all there is now.
i dont know if raids will scratch the same itch.
Technically no one stops you from doing them.
Find few friends who actually play this game for fun and enjoy your tours again with the new elite specs.
I know that’s what I wish my friends would feel like but sadly the term “play for fun” is not that common and get slapped in the face with “x farm is better than dungeons”.
Doing all path coe was my favorite thing to do. Now people saying waste of time and no longer wish to go with me I’m forcing myself to participate in map metas like tarir, dragonstand, night time in hot starter zone. Roaming the map is a solo experience for me. Chasing after champions and map chain events seems like scheme to forget how long they been there.

I dont think raids will be the same, they said to be lot harder and need 10 organized ppl, when in any dungeon (mb except Aetherpath) you could throw out lfg and isntantly get party. I really dont know what to do now on GW2 now so Ill just go play other games atleast I got for my 43€ back then almost 3 years of fun but id still like to enjoy the game, it has awesome people init and I like it otherwise. Except Anet kittenty moves like these, I wonder what will be next one they decide to remove..
It was to much changing in the basic game .
I am not able to understand aNets decision to nerf rewards that hard … They should have known it would be hard to find parties then …
I just can repeat myself … ANet killed the variety of the game… Made the gameplay boring by disabling soft cc to bosses..
Fractals are that boring too … 4manned a fotm 89 yesterday an it was challenging in no way it was just boring because of mobs with ultra high vita and toughness
But well we can do open world , where auto attack would be enough …

My biggest issue with open world are events like Triple Trouble, that’s also the most important problem with the game: Rewards for Completing Challenging Content.
