So, it is true..
Yesterday we run THarbor explore with my guildies, one of them looted from the chest
the precursor hammer “The Colossus”…, estimated price, 120g… wow!

Now I know that these items are not only crafted, Anet is giving a tinny small change to loot em from chests!

Keep UP the farming!

there has always been a chance to get them from any chest that could grant exotics as far as I was aware (which used to be the end chests in orr, and I suppose any of the fractal chests)

They could also drop randomly from monsters too (assuming the monster had a chance to drop level 80 exotics)

I didnt know that, I thought that there are only craftable through Mystic Forge, the funny is that everyone in the group started to call him a troll, lol, noone believed him..!

Really, what would you do with 120g at first?

Precursors are just named exotics – if you can get any named exotics from a source, you can get precs there, too.
I got Magmaton while farming Arah3 lately, meaning the champions there can drop precursors as well.
