I was very excited about finally getting an exotic back item with healing power, even began collecting my 1,350 tokens. Then I actually noticed something weird – there is no Prototype Fractal Capacitor with the Healing Power stat… What’s with that? Why did you design the rewards like that, completely ignoring one of the important stats?

It was more important to get a Magic Find backpack than a Healing Power backpack lol. But yeah, I’m not going to replace my 5g guild backpack unless they bring out one with Healing Power.=p

I actually popped back to the game recently when I heard about the Fractals Dungeon, just to check it out, but after seeing this exact thing… I just decided not to bother with the dungeon at all. My main is a Guardian, one I’ve taken time to turn into a rather good dungeon healer, if I start taking on the fractal armour types, I’m not going to be improving my character, I’m going to be degrading him… Why would I invest time for that?

The back pieces have NO healing components, and the rings have severely low healing power in comparison to exotics, it’s all very well and good, but in a game where “Everyone can do Anything” yet, they make it so that in one of the ‘End Game’ situations you really can’t due to the gear required to do the thing in the first place… It gets a bit tedious.

With that in mind, I won’t be investing time into Fractals until some love for healers is shown.

why do you want a cleric’s backpiece anyway? Guardian would be better off with P/V/T, if you’re an ele then yea, w/e.

It is pretty strange that with all the stat spreads they’ve offered, they haven’t covered power/tough/healing.

Cleric’s gear might not be flavor of the month but it’s not like it’s some obscure stat layout, quite a few people use it.

Probably will add it later.

Clerics isn’t the only thing missing, off the top of my head at least are also Knights and Rampagers. Pretty sure knights is used in a lot of builds, not quite sure why these were left out…… ????

There are some exotic backpieces the Magi one (healing power) being the only stat triplet not purchasable with tokens. Shame those are stupidly-bind-on-account-exotics from Fractals, thus lacking a reliable acquire source.

Regarding more ascended backpieces there are still some T6 fine crafting materials (totems for example) that lack a recipe in the Mystic Toilet to make one, they’d just have to add it.

Oh and there is another exotic healing power back but it’s so unfarmable-in-a-finite-amount-of-time that no one has ever heard of it.

Still no word on why there is such a limited selection of prototype fractal capacitor stat groups? It seems odd to me when you can find so many other groupings up until you get to ascended equipment. Maybe they will never add it but I’m just wondering why there is such a small set stat groups? I’m sure there is some reasoning behind it.

Still don’t get why they put in rings and backpeices with magic find instead of other options. They should be working to phase magic find out, if anything.

Exactly – how did magic find beat out healing power?
