If you die by things like the boulders in CoF path 1, as a dolphin in the underwater fractal, and the lasers in CoE, it degrades your armor. Armor gives no advantage when trying to get past these things so players often resort to removing all their armor so they don’t have to pay a fee if they mess up.

Armor degrading from these puzzles is an inconvenience that only frustrates players. Would it be possible to remove it?

I’d rather have an option for something like 5 custom profile sets. You could equip all your zerker gear, save it to profile 1. Equip all your WvW gear, save it to profile 2. Equip whatever mix or naked and save it to profile 3 and so on. Then changing to your desired set is just the click of a button.

I’d also like to see this for traits and skills, and be able to name them. Tis but a dream…

^ This, please, please, please. I keep trying to reach for my gear set changing macro.. only to realize that it doesn’t exist. T_T

It’d be really cool if you could press a button to link the entire set up in chat for people to mouseover and see. Could you imagine a game doing that? I wonder what that game might look like…

I think the OP is right. Puzzles and traps shouldn’t destroy your armor. It’s just frustrating.
