1. My first qns is about fractal weapons skins.

Just wondering how many ppl do you know that have a full set of fractal weapons. I only know 2 ppl till now who have gotten it and they had 2 or 3 alts and they do 3 dailies a day on all their alts.
Personally I have been trying to get a full set on my mesmer since fractal’s release. However till now I still don have a focus. Another weapon skin I don have is a mace. As proof I’ll post a pics.
Some of my frens have already left the game cos of the nerfs to fotm, limiting to lvl 49 and the the chance on getting wep skins. I don play as much as they do but the ridiculouly low chance on the skin is getting to me as well.
Do I have to buy gems from anet to pls the rng gods?

2. When is Anet going to release the ascended armor and weps.

Its been so long since they release ascended gear. When is anet going to do it again. All this temp content is getting boring. This game really needs some hard content which gives ascended armor and weps as rewards. A new 6 to 10 man raid would be awesome any thoughts?
Are we gonna have to wait till the new expansion?

I get the suspicion that any real dungeon / perma content /fotm update will likely have to wait till expansion. Good news? well at least rumor is the expansion is late this year, although my guess we could be waiting till next year… who knows haha, anet’s not gonna tell us XD.

He probably got his skins before the drops nerfed. I doubt that he could get that many lately.

I think it was something like half before the started limiting fractals to 49 and half after that.
Ok you guys gotta see where I’m coming from, before you ask why I’m complaining even though I got so many skins. I have been doing 3 dailies (ie 28/38/48) ever since they put a fractal lvl soft cap and before anet introduced that a few dailies as well(started doing more dailies ever since they fixed the dc and cant get back into fotm bug).
For those who have who do about 3 dailies a day, you would know that it takes atleast 3 hours minimum to get them all compeleted. So its quite frustrating that I have been spending 3 to 4 hours a day, almost everyday since some where in October or November and I still cant get a skin I want.

Actually I’ve been having the same suspicion lol. I know its asking for too much but it would be nice if someone from Anet could shade some light on this.

from 337 runs, probably all of them at 38-48. Each run takes between 30 mins to 3 hours, 10 runs per skin. Yea, the rng is bs. I only have about 130 38-48 and about 10 skins but not even the 1 I’ve been going for since day 1 and I can attest that the rng is bs. I feel bad for the OP. I can’t believe you kept going after so long. I quit fractals for months after I broke 100 and still didn’t have a single dagger.

This is just another thread that proves fractal skin has 0 prestige and needs to have another way to acquire the skins (through means only available in fractals).

I’m sorry but i have a friend who has been running 20s and 30s at least every other day since fotm was launched and has literally never had a single skin. I know its only a fraction of the amount the OP has run, but certainly not 1/40th. I also understand that there is a better drop rate in the 40’s but I’ve also heard from people who do 28/38/48 everyday and only have like 8-10 skins. I am totally a proponent for a different system for fractal weapons, lord knows i want my sword but I’m just saying maybe the OP’s situation isn’t a prime example for how poor the system is. And if my drop rate was 1 skin in 10 runs for 20s and 30s I would be ecstatic.

after last patch
at 48 skins drops a lot……(lot of people i played with said something like 23% and talked about a spreadsheet being updated)
they changed something in loots somehow.
Its still bad but a little better.

P.S. but please be sure to know what youare doing if you attempt to level to 48….
There are already too many players at 30-46 that should ve stayed at 20 to learn mechanics better.
