I am looking to get into raiding. I am almost finished with my first ascended set of armor. I have played for around 1000 hours but haven’t dedicated the time to getting ascended armor. I was looking at metabattle and noticed on some of the builds that they used assasins instead of berserkers. Is this min/maxing necessary just for a normal raid run? Not trying to speed clear or anything.
Min maxing is not necessary to clear the boss, but it gives you more leeway to screwup. Knowing the mechanics is way more important than even having ascended gear period. Though there isn’t much excuse to not have ascended trinkets and possibly a weapon, but really none of them are technically needed.
