Raid Class Preferences?
Druid – most necessary class.
Chronomancer – most often in need of class, role compressed tank
Ps war – easiest to find class
Necromancer – most encounter trivializing class
Dh – hybrid support dps class
Thief – highest dps on small hitboxes
Ele – ranged / large hit box highest dps
Engi – good cc and good ranged condi Dmg, least used except on vg
Also viable power option with rifle
Rev – mostly useful in pugs
I’d say rev is pretty useful in most groups. Easy source of buffs and nice boons, cc and decent dps.
DPS Benchmarks, Raids, Low-mans etc.
I’m thinking:
4 key slots:
chrono, druid, ps, rev.
Basically for unique buffs/ + boon spam.
then 6 somewhat optional dps/utility slots.
This is likely to be a mix of tempest, daredevil, DH, reaper, and engi.
Which I just noticed essentially means every class could fit into raids for a solid group now..
It’s going to boil down to utility. DPS isn’t so far apart now that it should matter too much. Ranged DPS might matter however, such as orb clearing for gorsi.
Advocate of learning and being a useful party member.

Rev – mostly useful in pugs
Even with a Chronomancer with 100% boon duration, the fury uptime from Revenant is nice.
Rev+Chrono, 2x Druid (2 Condi, or 1 Condi/1 Magi), 2x PS, 4x Tempest is a pretty powerful composition. The 2 PS and Druids double up on useful buffs. Substitute Tempests with DH, Daredevil, Reaper, etc, as needed.

From what I’ve seen in the raids post patch is Thief offers a lot of DPS. Most of our times were as the usual in some cases even better. And as for CC, its ridiculous with Basilisk Venom.

1125 breakbar damage potential with one skill makes me feel giddy. Icebow, even with a second person picking it up, doesn’t come close.
Revenant’s Staff 5 might be the only other contender.
