Guild Wars 2

I recently got into raids and spent a decent amount of time just trying to find good guides for the bosses I didn’t know. This collection of guides is supposed to speed up the process for others. Some of you might already know this post, because I posted it on reddit a few weeks ago.

This isn’t a “How to get into raiding”-post. It’s also not a definitive list, I’ve probably missed a few guides. If you know of other guides, drop me a message and I’ll add them. If you think one of the listed guides is bad, drop me a message explaining why and I’ll look into removing it. All those guides are made by other people, so if you have any feedback or praise for them, please contact them directly. I’ve only collected the links. For most guides I could find a creator, if I missed someone, please tell me so I can add them.

Watching the guides linked below is not equivalent to seeing the bosses for yourself. They help with learning, but they can only do so much to help you learn the raid. You’ll probably need some training runs anyway.

Known issues:

• Some bosses have way more guides than others. I’d love to add e.g. more guides for KC, but I couldn’t find any.
• No challenge mode guides. I didn’t look for CM guides as much as I did for normal guides, but I’d gladly add them if I find some.
• Basically all information on professions/skills/groups is more or less outdated or will be. This is due to the fact that most guides aren’t updated after balance patches. Take any information on group composition with a large grain of salt.
• Many newer strategies aren’t covered, e.g. “No Updraft” Gorseval. Again, this is due to guides not being updated after they’re made.
• Most guides aren’t perfect. There’s some mistakes, some missing information and some mechanics are only vaguely explained.

If you want to help out, please mention guides I’ve missed below or create a guide and tell me about it so I can add it to the list. Also tell me if a guide is missing a part of the encounter or has errors, so I can add a note or remove the guide.
