Raid-wing 3 - date
- a guild for raid-o’holics
That’s your information:
We want to give you a heads up about our next planned raids release: In the first event of the raid wing, some members of your squad (most likely half, or 5 out of 10) will need to have the Ley Line Gliding mastery trained in order for the team to succeed. For the final encounter, all members will need to have Ley Line Gliding.
So as you’re getting your masteries and deciding which line to pursue, give a special look at the Gliding Mastery and try to max that out, so you can be one of the cool kids on the team.Stayed tuned in the coming weeks for more info on the planned release date.
stayed tuned in the coming weeks for more info…. but 8 weeks from now is still counts as coming weeks.
I am fairly confident we’ll hear more information either this week or next week unless something unexpected came up (ie. critical bugs) in the raid wing’s testing.

So exciting!
Well guess i need to use some more PTO to play more on June 14th lol
Interesting… Looks like the 1st boss will be in some city…
Having just seen the teaser I am now a 30 year old man fangirling like crazy because of the story implications on display here.
SO HYPED FOR LIVING STORY SEASON 3!

Agreed. The most exciting thing about this announcement for many of us is that it means we will hopefully see actual LS content soon after the 14th.

Where did you get that, because i saw no mention of LS whatsoever?
Remember, remember, 15th of November

That’s why I said hopefully. What they did say was that we wouldn’t see new living story until after the third raid wing. New raid wing means we can start looking forward to that content at some point in the next few months (again, hopefully).

The old Reddit Q&A mentioned LS3 after raid wing 3’s release.
Granted it never said how soon, but it did say after.
So 2nd Week of July / August at the rate we’re going.

Ah, yes. There’s that. Though if i remember it right (can’t find the quote now), it was to be in the next quarterly release after last raid wing, or something like that (which would mean we still have few months left).
Well, at the very least we may get over raid hype for a time.

MO did comment that moving the 6 people out of Legendary work and over to LS3 work might mean earlier shipping of LS3. He made it very clear that this was only a vague possibility, however.
Even so, since they did say we don’t get LS3 until after wing 3 ships, it’s super nice to see wing 3 imminent because that does mean we could get LS3 at any point thereafter. Weeks later or months, later, who knows? But we are now moving towards that point at last.
Meh. We still didn’t manage to kill Slothasor. I am not hyped for this at all.
Make scaling difficulties. At this point I don’t care about legendary armor or beating it at this HC difficulty.
Raids aren’t really hard in the way that a precison platformer or a high APM game or a deep thinking strategic game are hard. It’s about all 10 people being on the same page and doing their part. It’s something that just about anyone has the capacity to do. Each individual mechanic is pretty simple, and you don’t have all that many that you need to watch for at a time; maybe like 5 different things at most. Once all 10 people learn those mechanics, it’s just a matter of each person paying attention to them and executing the group’s strategy. It just takes practice and each person being serious about learning the encounter.
