It used to be that whenever I killed jade maw I would open the chest and get:

relics
bags of coins
and then 5+ random items. Usually at least 3 rares/cores.

However lately I’ve only been getting the relics, bags of coins, and 3 random items.

Today I did a level 34 and the chest gave me:

relics
bags of coins
glacial core
2 green items

Agree, my drop from this chest was too very bad.

Next loot nerf that was not featured in the patch note.

This has been happening before the patch. First time it happened I thought it was just bad luck. Second and third time I start ruling out bad luck. When it happened today for the 5th time I realized that something wasn’t working properly.

It’s not the quality of the items, but the amount of items. I usually got 5/6 or more from the chest (not counting bag of coins and fractal relics) and now I’m getting 3.

Wondering if I should do a level 20 to see if it’s the same there.

I too felt like loot was significantly less and of lesser quality. But then again, just imagine the amount of outcry putting something like “less loot” in the patch notes would produce ;-)

I haven’t noticed anything different in my loot gain.

So…how big is your sample size again?

Two. Yes I know, unable to emprically estimate the probability density function and put a confidence interval on it. But usually I get 3-5 rares or more. This time one rare in two complete daily runs. :-P
